War Drums in the Ukraine

That’s why i showed that. A good source should be able to tell you how they do their reporting

At least you can see Putin’s imperialism is madness.

The rising protests across europe are against their own government’s insane foreign, energy and economic policies

I know. Right?

A group of district council members in St. Petersburg, President Vladimir Putin’s hometown, called for the Russian leader to be charged with treason and removed from office in a rare but brazen protest against the war in Ukraine.

More like this

Do you accept that both of these are happening? It matters how many, who, who is funding them, and what their logic is.

Do you really believe everything the propaganda sources tell you?

Another one bites the dust.

Another top ally of Russian President Vladimir Putin has died this week, this time of an alleged “stroke” while on a business trip in the village of Roshchino in Russia’s far east region.

There was really no other way for the Putin reign to end. He couldn’t retire, they would have murdered him in his sleep. His wealth mostly stolen so he had to maintain power to keep it. Trump is in a similar predicament. The only question is how much of the world they will take down with them.

Hope all this opens ground for Bolshevism to return to Russia

Oh yes, life was wonderful under Bolshevism…

Tremendous life. The only war to be fought would be the class war.

And how did that turn out for you?

Do you even know what a democratic republic is ?
Let me enlighten you.

What is a Democratic Republic?

The United States government is a complex entity known as a democratic republic. This essentially means that the government operates on the principles of both a republic and a democracy. In other words, the nation functions upon principles that are common in both republics and democracies.

The American Heritage Dictionary defines a republic as “a political order in which the supreme power lies in a body of citizens who are entitled to vote for officers and representatives responsible to them.”

The Merriam-Webster Dictionary defines democracy as “a government in which the supreme power is vested in the people and exercised by them directly or indirectly through a system of representation usually involving periodically held free elections.” In other words, in a republic there are a group of citizens elected or appointed to represent the people, but with a democracy the power is theoretically in the hands of usually all voting citizens. A democratic republic is a mixture of the two.

This is what Ukraine wanted for its people and Russia doesn’t. It wants to maintain its Oligarchy that gives all the power to a few “privileged” (rich) people. To Russia a democratic republic is a threat, not to its people but to the few privileged people in power!

As you correctly observed, there is no equality in Russia…

Read the book revolution betrayed. The rise of stalinism

Yes and you know why?

Bolshevism

Replacing one dictatorship with another is not conducive to “individual freedom of choice”

I asked you to read the book - not a demonstration of your cut and paste skills of superficial garbage. Hows your democracy panned out. I hear its great😂

The Democracy is just fine. There was an attempted coup by a gang of neo-nazis, religious nutcases, headed by a psychopath with a God complex.

The legitimate goverment is dealing with the issue in a lawful manner and in full view of the nation and the world.

How is it that you know more about what goes on in the US than in Russia?
Is it because in the US we practice transparency in dealing with the nation’s problems.

No people accidentally falling out windows, or getting into hit-and-run car accidents, or getting poisoned by an anonymous assassin.
Those are the control tactics used in dictatorships and oligarchies .

From the stolen 2000 elections to where we are now, its going fine😂

That was not a stolen election. It was adjudicated and decided that GW was the winner. Al Gore conceded the election and there was a peaceful transfer of power, just as the 2008 Republican nominee conceded to the Obama/Biden ticket.

That is the strength of a Democracy , all legal issues are deliberated and decided in a court of Law where all litigants have equal right to present their case.

No form of government is perfect, but the US form of government is still the model to beat.

Personally, I believe that unrestricted Capitalism has corrupted the system and US elections are becoming so expensive that elected officials have to spend half their time in office on fund-raising.
That must change.

I believe that the SCOTUS decision to treat “money as a form of free speech” is a legal abomination. Money is by definition “a means of exchange”, i.e. “quid pro quo” and is never free.

Why? Why would anyone want that?
