He might be disappointed because some, or at least one, European countries have succeeded with solar and wind to power their country. Germany doesn’t want to go back to nuclear power, but with things moving away from oil, because of Climate Change, they and other European countries very well may just look into green energy and snub their nose at Russia’s oil pipelines.
