Trump Found Guilty

If you remember the 60s, you weren’t there

Controlling the narrative. You don’t bring up their extreme garbage for them.

You say the Dems keep the Republicans fascist intentions hidden from the public. What a winning strategy - good for saving democracy

What? It is public. I’m not going to teach you about debating.

Great questions.

What are you doing to raise awareness about what Project 2025 is all about?

Why not add some inside info to amplify awareness when it is brought up?

Biden was pathetic. And Trump still has some fire in him even with all of his problems. That means he can inspire his way closer to victory. But it might not be enough.

Speaking of Project 2025

Jun 30, 2024
MeidasTouch hosts Ben Meiselas and Mike Sacks reports on how the recent decisions by the Supreme Court have exposed its ultimate goal of supporting fraudsters.

Show me where the Democrats have brought Project 2025 to the publics attention at a press conference, on a television interview , in a public debate in a podcast etc.

Walter Cronkite but not until the early 70s. Plus, the school could not tell my parents who my first grade teacher would be due to bussing. Again, that was 71 and on my report card and I had to ask my mother what it meant. I learned MLK Jr was assassinated when I was 2 and JFK before I was born and LBJ was president when I was born, due to re-election. All the last in the 60s. I was there, except for JFK assassination, but too young to remember. I do remember the Fall of Saigon plastered all over the TV, people screaming, running, and helicopters everywhere, with some people trying to jump onto them. That is a horrible thing for a nine year old to see on TV. My parents were ticked that Ford pardon Nixon. Jimmy Carter with his daughter Amy playing drums on a Variety show after that was refreshing, as well as the TV show Soap… “You look mauvalous!” “Confused? You won’t be after this episode…”

The 70s I was definitely there for and while I was born in the Sixties, I wasn’t capable of remember those few years of my early life.

A comedian said that. The joke is that the time is associated with a lot of activities surrounding a culture of mind altering drugs. Those could cause memory loss, or at least, give you an experience of reality that wasn’t the same as everyone else. So, to be “there” means to be part of that culture.

For you and me, we saw and heard the recordings of Woodstock, but we weren’t there. Or, the joke is, if you remember being at Woodstock, then you weren’t blitzed out of your brain, so you were there physically but you weren’t having the experience that was “the sixties”.

You use words in strange ways. You know what project 2025 is, so it’s public. Then, you change the meaning of the word to mean the Democrats discuss it publicly. We can’t have a conversation if you do that.

Democrats are discussing their programs. They are addressing the problems of Project 2025 by showing the right way to bring moral solutions to the country.

Is the wider public aware of Project 2025? Is this worth the Democrats highlighting to the American people in keeping with their mantra that democracy is at threat ?

Again with words. I’m pretty sure it was some Democrat that posted it in some way that I then found it. There’s no point in answering you, because you think some specific Democrats should do some specific thing, but if I discuss that, you ask the same questions you asked earlier in a generic way again. You are posting just to post. That’s the definition of trolling.

Don’t get too uppity Lausten, Stateless has a point,
Democrats have allowed the Alt-Right to run propaganda circles around them.
Quite often behaving like limp noodles more than confident politicians who can explain the issues and engage their grassroots.

Rolling over for Republicans in Florida in 2000
Oh and Clinton another example of that self-absorbed streak that blinds so well, that he couldn’t keep his noodle in his pants.
Or, that Obama who was so enthralled with his own cool, that he forgot all about his ‘political organization’ and winning the next election that would have sealed his legacy, instead Trump is Obama’s legacy. Can you feel my pain?

That Kavanaugh Nomination Hearing the Democrat Senator’s questions was an appalling, enraging, failure to communicate.

Allowing the automatic weapons ban to expire.

There’s plenty of more example but I just as soon not dig into that dark place.

Heck, I experienced this, a pretty pathetic thing for a Democratic Party leader to do.

Democratic have done plenty to be disappointed by and angered at, but it’s still the only show in town and the more totally abandon it, the worse it will get, I just as soon keep bailing. Which is why I’m digging into the more fundamental causes of our collective failure to support honesty, facts, rational discussion, instead allowing money to do all the screaming.

Whereas the Republicans have become the party of Putin lovers and America haters, full of vandal whose idiots hears simply want to burn baby burn. Which I guess is where I part way with Stateless because he seems more the burn baby burn type, then someone actually trying to wrap their minds around why it has all gone so terribly terribly wrong,

While you Lausten want to always look on the bright, so in come the Braver Angels telling us I’m okay you’re okay, there aren’t really any differences, let’s all sing kumbaya.

Me? Well I’m and Earth Centrist and have a rather unique Bottom Up Evolutionary Perspective in which humanity isn’t the do all, end all, but simply another one of Earth’s experiments.

Uppity? You’re funny.

I know he has points. I’ve agreed with his points. His points are not the point.

I know Democrats are failing. These are dark times. But we live in these times. WE are the times.

Some final words from the convention:

Bad times, hard times, this is what people keep saying, but let us live well, and times will be good. We are the times. Such as we are, such are the times. —Saint Augustine

Same as it evaa was.
So they say.

“We are the times.”
Indeed we are, there’s a lot in those few words, and indeed a poor reflection on us,
it is.

We arent lynching people in this country, and we are helping others with that. We have a worldwide network of aid. We pulled back from nuclear war, but still have a ways to go. We expect leaders to negotiate. So much good to build on.

And now the SC has granted trump partial immunity from criminal prosecution . Whatever cases are brought against him for unofficial acts as president , the SC has given him the right to appeal , meaning nothing will be resolved until after the election.

The Dems FU again by waiting to have these cases heard in the election year because they thought it would have the greatest negative impact on Trump.

Its all too late .

I never did understand why anyone would want to get blitzed, snickered, buzzed, etc etc etc with anything that causes you not to remember the fun you might have had. That said, I never did understand why they did it when they were down. I’m with Petula Clarke on this one, even if her song was released in '64:

Question:

Under the new ruling by SCOTUS, if a president attempts to kill me, do I still have the right to defend myself?
