Trump Running For Re-Election

I am not a supporter of Trump but I do know he has plans to run again for re-election.

My question is (as also the topic is) "how easy would it be for him to run again with

“impeachment” on his resume? I know that he has 44% support from his base, but

honestly, can he carry the country with only 44%, AND being impeached? What are

his realistic chances?

The problem is, Carl, that impeachment is not on his resume. The threat of impeachment is not impeachment. We know very well that the Republican Senate would never vote for impeachment even if Trump committed mass murder right before their eyes. And the Republican electorate has proven they would vote for him no matter how dangerous he is or how many lies he tells. It is an enormous problem when we have a known fool running for president and an ignorant electorate champing at the bit to reelect him.

Migrant children relocated from ‘inhumane’ Texas facility

“Federal authorities moved nearly all of the more than 300 migrant children who were being housed at a filthy Border Patrol station in Clint, Texas. About 30 remain. The transfer followed reports that the kids were hungry and living in unsanitary conditions. Migrants are supposed to be detained at Border Patrol stations for no longer than 72 hours, but some of the minors had been there for three weeks. Rep. Veronica Escobar (D-Texas) described the conditions at the station as “inhumane.” The case, along with other reports of facilities with poor conditions, suggests that overcrowding at federal border facilities is reaching a breaking point. “The situation becomes more dire each day,” said Evelyn Stauffer, a spokeswoman for the Department of Health and Human Services’ Office of Refugee Resettlement. [USA Today, The New York Times]”

We keep hearing from Republicans that migrant camps are nothing like concentration camps (as if they knew the difference) and we should stop calling them concentrations camps. Can anyone tell me the difference between migration camps and concentration camps when it comes to conditions in each and freedoms denied to the happy “campers”?

I agree with you Lois. And as much as I am sure that the House CAN

IMPEACH Trump, to remove him would have to be approved by the Senate.

I was just wondering how just the idea of the impeachment would hang on

his neck (like an albatross) while he campaigns for re-election.

Republicans will love it. It won’t be an albatross, they will see it as a badge of honor.

The only albatross that matters is his ability to convince voters that he can fulfill his campaign promises. Impeachment threats are old news.

War president??

Hell of a bumper sticker

Says so much with so little.

The caption is superfluous.

If tragically true of America.

Our economy depends on it, what ya gonna do…

I think LoisL is absolutely right. Trumpkushka’s supporters would LOVE it if he was impeached. It would prove how “desperate” his enemies are to stop him from “fixing the country”. I think that’s the main reason Ms. Pelosi is soft-pedaling that idea.

I am a Trump supporter. Pelosi has three battle fronts, AOC, Trump and the Democratic Party. Her problem with Trump is that he is a progressive. Her problem with AOC is she is a communist. Her problem with the Party is a bunch of deep state connections are about to come to light from the last election. And she has to keep that covered up. Biden for example is leading the pack. And he is not really running. He hoped into the race when the Ukrainian was going to go after his son for graft which would have put in court for political graft. The day he announced, the Ukraine said it was all a big mistake. Yea, Trumps biggest helpers to winning another term is the Democrats. The cause of all of this is Pelosi herself. The Democratic Party is running like a communist party. And everyone knows that you move to Communism by socialism first. If Pelosi was operating like a socialist party she would not be having as much trouble. The socialist in the party are trying to topple her. They want the socialist structure.

And you want a Fascist one. You didn’t have tell us you are a Trump supporter. We could smell it from a mile off.

AOC communist??? I wish!!

Reformist socialism, evolutionary socialism and now democratic socialism. It is all socialism. And socialism is the path to communism.

Lois that smell you are smelling is freedom. It a deplorable smell to the communists.

“And you want a Fascist one.

I had to look fascism up. I hear all these labels and it is just garbage to me. I know a cow is a cow and a horse is a horse without political left wing labels. All labels are for is to rate the caste.

Fascism is a form of right-wing, authoritarian ultranationalism characterized by dictatorial power, forcible suppression of opposition and strong regimentation of society and of the economy which came to prominence in early 20th-century Europe. Wikipedia

It was started by Benito Mussolini and his political movement. The accomplishments of Mussolini and his Fascist Party were widely admired and was looked upon as having saved Italy from a communist dictatorship of the type that developed in the Russian Empire. An American admirer was Hugh Johnson, the man who managed government policy during World War I. Franklin Roosevelt chose Hugh Johnson to design his program called The New Deal for coping with the problems of the Great Depression. There was not much faith in a purely market economy at the time. Johnson adopted some of the policies of Mussolini for the Roosevelt New Deal. He also adopted programs of other corporatist leaders in Europe such as Miguel Primo de Rivera in Spain. This was the origin of the Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA). Thus, the modern platform of the Democratic Party had its origin in corporatist programs of Mussolini’s Fascist Party in Italy and other such statist leaders. RE: San José State University

The President of America does not fit the title of fascist in any way shape or form. I guess the political race has started and the labels are now out on the far left. I can deal with it. After all, what else do you have? Could not get him impeached for winning the presidency. And you tried to destroy the United States to make President Trump look bad. The Democratic Party is not doing any good for the children of this nation.

Trump is a Progressive. Progressive capitalism is based on a new social contract between voters and elected officials, between workers and corporations, between rich and poor, and between those with jobs and those who are un- or underemployed. The NYT. “Progressive Capitalism Is Not an Oxymoron” April 19, 2019

Progressive economically or socially??

Politically, socially, culturally and economically.

I am new here so, please, no offense. I am doing research on why should Trump not to be president for the next term and I am coming across various opinions and arguments. I recently bumped into this site, though it is a bit out of date as of writing (hopefully it is allowed): https://bit.ly/2LlJJWk . I would also like to welcome your opinions and fors and againsts which I could later implement into my research.

Hey mike. How come you dont discuss policy in your blog? Are you a "player "??

I don’t have a blog yet, just a uni student trying to gather some info for an upcoming article for one page. Anyway, I think I am somewhere in between.
