In between 1978 and 2014, inflation-adjusted CEO pay increased by almost 1,000%, according to a report released on Sunday by the Economic Policy Institute. Meanwhile, typical workers in the U.S. saw a pay raise of just 11% during that same period.
With these increases in mind, it should come as no surprise that the ratio between average American CEO pay and worker pay is now 303-to-1.
This ratio is lower than its peak in 2000, when it was 376-to-1, but it's in excess of the 1965 ratio of 20-to 1.
Average realized pay for CEOs at the top 350 firms as measured by revenue was up 3.9% between 2013 and 2014, and up by 54.3%
since the recovery began in 2009. Meanwhile, most other workers have faced stagnant wages.
But pay increases and ratios only tell part of the story. The stark differences are made concrete when translated into dollars and cents.
In 1965, CEOs earned an average of $832,000 annually compared to $40,200 for workers. In 2014, CEO pay had risen to an average

I got a better way for us to save a lot of time. Take your list and post it on a few Republican websites and see if they agree with you. Or if your list has a lot of spin. All I see here is a lot of items for the healing process of losing to the so called deplorable. Any way you look at it, there was over nine trillion dollars of extra money spent on top of a huge budget. And another ten trillion needs to be borrowed to keep all these programs in operation. Just how do you plan on paying the interest on that amount of money alone? You don’t care do you? CC, I have always been for spending more on the computer model data. I want a scientific approach used. That’s why I have always pushed the datum line for data being established. Being right and knowing your right but not being able to prove you are right by good science can cause a setback or at the very least a lot of political slowdowns in fixing a problem that has no solid method of measuring the progress one way or another.
When a story is published about Climate Change in the age of dinosaurs. How do you tell people that Climate Change is manmade effects on the natural climate? I believe we got to have the base line established to get this fixed by science and not by political pressure.

Last Monday, Deputy Assistant to the President, Sebastian Gorka refused to admit that that it may have been poor judgment not to specifically acknowledge the suffering of Jews in the Holocaust.
Gorka was an odd choice of proxies for the White House to put forward in defense of its Holocaust Remembrance day statement.

By actually learning about climate change and the various factors influencing and not constantly being blasted my emotional, partisan utter bull shit intended to stupefy and confuse. It really is fairly straight forward, just gotta open you mind to the objective evidence.
Fool we know all we need to know. If we don't throttle back on this idiotic consumption obsessed economic model, we will exterminate our complex society, and the way we are going at it, you can bet most of humanity will also succumb before too many decades. If you had more appreciation for all it take to keep our complex society humming you'd appreciate that reality.

I think you missed the point. The point being, there are reporters and science writers around the world that can't get the difference between Global Warming and Climate Change. It is catching on here in the USA, but we are only 5% of the population. Have you checked to see how the rest of the world is understanding the problem? What is a reasonable time to get this understood worldwide? Take carbon offsetting schemes that began back in 1989 and really took off in 2009. Twenty-eight years in the news and being reported and yet it is not a well understood subject. You seem to think that to fix the problems all the people have to do is follow your instructions. Which are to point fingers at the rich and corporations. Which is crazy, because it is the rich and big corporations that are creating the carbon free energy solutions. If you really believed in what you are saying about throttling back, then why is the Left pushing Globalization? Globalization is not throttling back, it is full speed ahead with carbon consumption. You post about record heat levels with no separation between the natural and man-made heat. You post NASA which has no solutions on fixing the problem. So when you state "throttle back", what do you mean? How is this throttling back you are talking about suppose to work for all the people around the world? That's what I would like some details on.
