People losing their minds with what is happening in ukraine in that its not going to what they were told would happen. I dont see anyone calling for permanent ceasefires on this board
You see what you want to see. Or don’t see in this case
the evidence is there but you dont look hard enough or you wont accept it. I wonder who else uses that line of argument.
Biden can end the war in both ukraine and gaza although gaza more of a massacre than war.
I don’t see how Biden can stop the war in Ukraine, except by accepting that Putin destroys it, or over arming Ukraine so Russian army is crushed. I would be very happy if you can demonstrate that there is another way.
I would agree about Gaza. But Biden is not a dictator. He must respect congress, and congress is pro-Israël.
More, Biden is a politician who seeks reelection and he is in a catch22 as a part of his electorate is pro Israël, and part is pro Palestinian.
Last, don’t forget that many supporters of Trump are rabidly pro Israël, even if anti-Semitic. As they read the Bible, victory of Israël is the ante-penultimate event before the coming of the Christ.
Thats been shown to be fatal to the ukraine military time and time again as every counter offensive ends in more loss of territory and dead ukraine soldiers. Biden must end this and stop supplying the weapons that Ukraine is committing suicide with
I read that you don’t contest that, if Putin wins fully, he will destroy Ukraine as an independent state, and will go to the limit of genocide.
In fact Ukraine so called allies never have given Ukraine the weapons it needed, but just enough to survive.
Right now, Ukraine is lacking ammunitions.
I got no reason to agree with that. Thats just what you say.
“In fact Ukraine so called allies never have given Ukraine the weapons it needed,”

And thats just from the USA. What else is needed??
All that weaponry was used on Ukrainian soil. It should have been used to hit Russia directly. That war would have been over by now.
What other weaponry is needed?
And soldiers . Talk of collapse in western circles

Interesting commentary on debate on Ukraine with lots of hate figures
So the actual debate was Vaush v Dave Smith modded by Ryan Grim and Emily Jazhinksy and the debate is replayed and commented on by Ben Burgis and Branko Marcetic. So there’s a lot of dodgy people involved but it’s actually very interesting as you get a lot of argument and counterargument from many different points of view, from the original debate but also from the commentary from the replayers. I didn’t expect it to work but it’s very good.
Russia has agreed to ceasefire but with conditions to ensure the root cause of the war is addressed with 1000s of Ukrainian soldiers surrounded by russian soldiers in kursk region
Russia does not want a cease fire. Russia want to destroy as an independent state and Ukrainians as a people.
They should of taken the istanbul deal. Oh well. Now zel refuses to let his soldiers surrender in kursk which is a certain death sentence
Tell me why Russia and Ukraine got along so well before America got involved? Russia is attacking America not Ukraine. The electrical grid being attacked is paid for and maintained by America. We have been paying the electrical bills for Ukraine since 1992. The Donbass’s wanted out of Ukraine is the issue. Over the last two decades the US has given Russia the royal screwing in Ukraine.
Russian propaganda, to be polite.
The troubles began when an Ukrainian government elected to make a deal with EU bent under Putin pressure and wanted to substitute a deal with Russia.
It was the first revolution.
Ukraine is independent from Russia, and Putin cannot live with that.
When the referendum for independence took place, a majority of Donbass residents voted for independence, and by treaty, Ukraine gave up its atomic weapons, against a guaranty of its borders, given by USA and Russia.
Russian secret services paid some activists to create trouble in Donbass.
Russia has broken the treaty more than once.
