I was challenging the term “deprogram”. It implies that there is something wrong with people’s thinking, and that it can be fixed. Thoughts are changed by gaining an understanding of information. Preferably that is true and accurate information.
First comes access to said information. Thus Censorship plays an important role for the establishment

I appreciate that thought, lausten, and I appreciate your patience as well. As you babysit us through tough times, the puzzle of these disconnects may perhaps get exposed. I have a theory around mimicry which may address some of it. What did we do in school all those years but get programmed? Programmed to be nationalists too, by the way. No scalar mentatlity was ever encouraged in my public schooling. Come to think of it there must have been an American flag in every room of the building. And every morning we’d stand, put our hand over our chest, and repeat the same thing as the last day to that flag. Could repetition have anything to do with programming? These are not conscious elements we are dealing with. We are creatures of habit; no different than dogs. The sense of what a good dog is might actually hold some key to how some here come to challenge the mantra of the MSM. I assure you that we are hardly alone. Still, there is another faction whose good dog instinct plays on a team and has devotion. Possibly even were rewarded heavily for getting good grades by their good parents; thus enforcing them to be good mimics… and here I can identify a break of myself from those selves. The toughest bugs to fix are the invalid assumptions.
Do you mean the democratically elected Ukraine’s government’s offensive in response to an invading Russian enemy on their territory?
Nice. I’d like to see more of that.
Learned. Learned to look things up for ourselves.
Well
Viktor Yanukovych was democratically elected
[quote=“loveisnotenough, post:694, topic:7850”]
Viktor Yanukovych was democratically elected
Until he was replaced by Zelenskyy by popular vote.
Volodymyr Oleksandrovych Zelenskyy [a] (also transliterated as Zelensky or Zelenskiy ;[b] born 25 January 1978) is a Ukrainian politician and former comedian and actor who is the sixth and current president of Ukraine since 2019.
Zelenskyy announced his candidacy in the 2019 presidential election on the evening of 31 December 2018, alongside the New Year’s Eve address of then-president Petro Poroshenko on the TV channel 1+1.
A political outsider, he had already become one of the frontrunners in opinion polls for the election.
He won the election with 73.23 percent of the vote in the second round, defeating Poroshenko. He has positioned himself as an anti-establishment and anti-corruption figure. As president, Zelenskyy has been a proponent of e-government and of unity between the Ukrainian- and Russian-speaking parts of the country’s population.[4]: 11–13
Pretty sure something else happened in the interim…

How do events that happened in 2010 have anything to do with events in 2019 and the past 4 years of Zelenskyy ?
What does the Lukashenko regime in Belarus have anything to do with Ukraine?
What are you talking about?
Why did you write this??
What do you fear most?”
"I fear that love is not enough "
Sorry, that’s a twitter artifact. The video is of the Maidan coup. That bit about Belarus is in conversation with somebody else. Poroshenko somehow gets glossed over in all of this. When Zelensky beat him it was because he pledged to resolve the Donetsk problem peacefully. As a citizen of the U.$.A. I am most concerned about my country’s actions and influence in these events. We all are so fortunate not to be Ukranians.
Seemed obvious to me. For the same reason you wrote that Viktor Yanukovych was elected
That is commendable and you are right, we are fortunate to live in the US.
But it is in our National interest to prevent another European takeover by a dictator and possibly start a WW3.
If such a thing happened you have no idea of the hardship humanity will face. Ask the Japanese if they remember Hiroshima and Nagasaki? 2 Bombs is all it took.

“Seemed obvious to me. For the same reason you wrote that Viktor Yanukovych was elected”
What seems obvious?? What reason did i write that?
See this is the type of bulls@@t response Tim was talking about in the alternative realities alternative facts world presented by the moderators of all people , with this one pushing the line that " democracy in ukraine was born in 2021. "
What do you fear most?”
"I fear that love is not enough "

with this one pushing the line that " democracy in ukraine was born in 2021. "
That is definitely not what I got from what Write4U wrote. This is a real problem. If you are reacting to what you think, instead of trying to understand what others are posting, you will make these threads hard to follow. You will react in ways that make sense only to you.

What reason did i write that?
Why don’t you simply tell us what you meant? If I misinterpreted your words, sorry, not a lot I can do about that. Words get misinterpreted all the time. The written word is difficult.

This is a real problem.
What is obvious to you in W4U words? What is this same reason ?
What do you fear most?”
"I fear that love is not enough "

What is this same reason ?
To point out Ukraine has free elections. Show what is different between the two. I’ll listen

To point out Ukraine has free elections.
He said that Viktor Yanukovych was replaced by Zelenskyy by popular vote.
Is that a true and accurate account of history or is it disinformation?
