The best response to what about oct 7

That has not been shown to be true historically. Israel has been building settlements outside its borders for 50 years. Despite the UN saying it’s against international law.

Your sentence makes no sense and the first part sounds insulting. I suggest you write it properly, so the tables aren’t turned, and make it make sense. However, if you are asking what I think you are, I see no reason to explain why I’m compassionate to the children and the elderly, but not for governments of Israel and Palestine and most nothing for Hamas. I see no reason to explain why I share views with Bernie Sanders either. The answer only sounds stupid to you because you don’t like it when people don’t agree with you.

First, it is necessary to acknowledge Israel’s right to exist to begin with.

Most of the world recognizes both Israel and Palestine. Obviously, you can find people all over who say one or the other should be wiped off the face of the earth. It’s not a valid place to start negotiations. I don’t expect any major changes in the problem over the next few years, but I’m hoping the radical wing of Hamas, and the far-right Israeli government lose a lot of their power. What fills that vacuum? Hard to say.

I am asking you why did you say it was a very stupid answer? Are you walking this statement back now?

That wording does not exist in international law and is only ever applied by zionists to israel. Did Czechoslovakia and yugoslavia have a right to exist?

Blindsided comment on the situation at hand with the key player in this continued occupation of the Palestinian people ~ the USA left out. The US of A have voted against every single UN vote for a two state resolution

Not sure what that means. I don’t think I’ve said anything that could be construed as a defense of Biden, the US, or Israel on this forum. Or anywhere.

Seems to me that as long as this is the slogan, it is very much a valid place to start negotiations.
Remember, this thing has been going on for thousands of years!

This has nothing to do with “most of the world”, this has to do with neighbors next door.
just look at the map of countries that do not recognize Israel’s borders at all.

Did Arab States Really Promise to Push Jews Into the Sea? Yes!

Hassan al-Banna, founder of the Muslim Brotherhood, was quoted by the New York Times in 1948 as saying “If the Jewish state becomes a fact, and this is realized by the Arab peoples, they will drive the Jews who live in their midst into the sea.” That wasn’t about Israelis but about Jews in Arab countries.

So did Arabs ever use that phrase concerning the Jews of Israel, or is it a myth?
It does not appear to be a myth.

I didn’t think that would be controversial. How could you start negotiations with one side saying, “we want to wipe you out”? I know some people say that. I don’t care for a headline that says “Arab States” say… The details are always that a small number of people said it, and usually in the past. Like, you know, 1948.

And, sure, it matters what the neighboring states think, but this is a world economy now. Arab governments can’t launch a giant offensive against Israel without the rest of the world responding.

No, not walking it back. It is rather stupid to go on and on and on and on with an answer. That said, your statement still didn’t make much sense. That said though, I do have compassion for the children and elderly, as well as the other hostages, but not for the governments or Hamas. That said, you still don’t like it when people disagree with you.

Repeating that something doesnt make sense but not explaining why is not serious commentary

Highlighting that oct 7 is every day for the Palestinians is VERY stupid according to you.

More like annoying, because people long since know this and there is no need to be asinine about how Oct. 7 has lasted a long time for those people. People are not that stupid that one has to say, What about what about what about and be annoying. It’s purely being asinine about it all.

Now its not stupid . Just annoying?? Annoying to respond to someone who shouts “WHAT ABOUT OCT 7 ?” with whatabout oct 8, what about Oct 9 what about Oct 10 etc… ?

The Palestinians apologise for your Ist world annoyance in reminding that they are being murdered everyday !!!

Well, they have been at it for 2000+ years. This is a blood feud that will never stop.

Yes well, Israel did not start this horror.
And Israel does have a right to defend its own citizens.
BY ANY MEANS!

Not at all.

Empires dominated the region for centuries, until the fall of the Ottoman empire un fact.

Sea people and Hebrews settled in Palestine roughly at the same time, around 1300 BCE. Sea People are among the ancestors of Palestinians.

722 BCE northern kingdom is crushed by Assyrians
586 BCE southern kingdom is destroyed by Neo-Babylonian empire

To sum up, Persia, Seleucid, Roma, Constantinople, Arab and Turkish empires followed.

The Jewish–Roman wars , 66-73 CE, 115–117 CE, and 132-136 CE, were in fact Jewish rebellions against the Roman empire. They had a devastating impact on the Jewish people, transforming them from a major population in the Eastern Mediterranean into a dispersed and persecuted minority around the Roman world.

The relationship between Jews and others were sometime difficult but globally good and peaceful. Arabs and Jews defended together Jerusalem against the first crusade, vainly.

The relationship became locally more difficult after WWI when Jews began to install colonies, and definitely became hostile after WWII.

Israel creation was allowed by the winners of WWII, may be to atone for their attitude during this time. It was a disaster for Palestinians who were massively expelled from their lands and from Palestine.

After 1967 war, Israel began to put in effect its project of great Israel and to colonize Cisjordanie.

Hope was born after Oslo agreements, in 1994. Extremists from both camps agreed to ruin any chance of peace.

Yes, almost 2000 years ago Romans occupied Jewish territory and the Jews defended their home against the invaders and lost all of it.

Sounds familiar doesn’t it? Except now the Jews are considered the invaders into their own ancestral lands. They just can’t win for losing.

I think they have had enough of this nomadic existence. This time no one is going to drive them out again, ever!

You can’t see how this doesn’t make sense?

You said the answer very stupid. Are you ealing this back now?

What’s “ealing”? It’s fine, we all make typos. Just clarify, it’s not that big of a deal. Get that chip off your shoulder.

That is so sad. I don’t believe we are creatures that will kill each other forever. History shows peace is possible.
