They have to also cease firing. Then, both sides need to do lots of other things so no one feels justified in firing later.
Hamas is calling for a ceasefire but other side says no which includes the united states
Calling for a cease fire and ceasing fire long term are two different things. How do we make that happen?
Israel and USA are not calling for a ceasefire short term medium term or long term
I didnāt think you could answer that. Nothing personal. Itās a difficult question. Much harder than just saying ācease fireā.
I dont think your grasping the situation at hand.
Itās called ābeing at an impasseā
It is a good response, but itās not going change anyoneās mind.
I have compassion for the children, but not the governments of Israel or Palestine. I have absolutely no compassion for Hamas. Donāt twist my words into something they are not.
There you go again, assuming something that I did not mean. I support a cease fire on both sides, not just one. Secondly, you say āSocial Democratā like it was a bad thing. BTW, itās Democratic Socialist, just like Bernie Sanders.
You said the answer very stupid. Are you ealing this back now?
These borders have never been recognized by the surrounding countries, with a few exceptions.
Have you looked and thought about that map I posted? Do you see how many neighbors want to drive all Israelites into the sea, i.e. genocide.
And yes, every time Israel gets attacked, they end up with more territory.
Stop attacking Israel and they will stop gobbling up territory.
p.s. I wish you would stop labeling people with derogatory statements. You have no idea about my political leanings.
But I am also a mod and I agree with Lausten. So you are treading a fine line.
Where are the borders those countries in green say they recognised israel ?
Check the site, They have posted the history of Israeli expansion, during attacks from their neighbors.
Nothing on the site. You dont know.
That doesnt shed any light on recognised bordes
Thatās not the point if nobody recognizes Israel as a country and its borders to begin with.
It absolutely is the point in recognising where israel exists
Thatās a true point. Israel is a fact. De facto, Egypt and Jordan, among other countries have admitted it.
OLP has admitted it, and even Hamas has formally recognized the right of Israel to exist, even if many people doubt the sincerity of Hamas.
Now, the borders are another matter. In fact, for Israel, its borders are the borders of Palestine. for Palestinians and for the international community, Israel borders are the pre1967 borders.
