There’s more than the global economy that’s in a free fall,
stay away from the agriculture news if you want to sleep.
Oh and don’t be checking up on the state of global sweet water supplies.
Climate news, well that’s just the same old, except another day has slide into the runway that’s behind us.
Gonna be a very rough landing.

They’ll recover once we roll our nukes in. A lot of jobs to keep those babies safe and happy!

Alex makes some key points here. The kurds have been thrown under the bus yet again. Wonder what will happen to the kurds in parliament now that they have been labelled as terrorists.

Great point that in this world there are no friends. Just interests. When a greater interests comes along so called friends such as american support for kurds vanishes. A lesson for ukraine to ponder.

Turkey got it concessions from sweden and finland but yet to receive from USA.

Last week at the Madrid Summit, Allied leaders agreed to invite Finland and Sweden to join NATO following the agreement of a trilateral memorandum between Türkiye, Finland, and Sweden. Today, the Accession Protocols were signed, marking the start of the ratification process.

The Secretary General said that NATO’s door remains open to European democracies who are ready and willing to contribute to our shared security: “With 32 nations around the table, we will be even stronger and our people will be even safer, as we face the biggest security crisis in decades.”

Putin having shown his colors and terrorized Ukraine and Europe this past year has done a great job of showing folks where the danger lies. Russia is an aggressive unhinged threat to the world and deserves being contained.

I’m simply reporting - all sides have been jerks and destroyed all the hard fought for progress made between 1945 and around 2000 toward a saner world. What a shame humanity has embraced delusional thinking with such vigor.

I am against death penalty but i will not shed tears on Shinzo Abe.

He was an ultra nationalist and a negationist of history. He participated to the very dangerous re writing of Japan history by Japanese authorities. .
