The U.S. is ruled by Capitalists. Capitalism is the law of the land and if you work for one of those capitalists (AKA Hellmart, Amazon, etc) you don’t get to spend time with your family on holidays without getting punished in some way due to their greed. They don’t care if you drop dead on the job due to lack of rest or what have you. It’s the new form of slavery, IMO.

We have considerable proof that Russiagate is propaganda sourced not only from the status quo Democratic party, but from the deep state as well. I should remind you that I am nowhere near done with this analysis. The consequences of Russiagate as propaganda are far larger than this one video. Consider how many of our media sources have failed to do the analysis that you witness here. How many of them have promoted a false narrative. Your only defense to stand on Russia as the source of blame for the rigged 2016 election is to call me a Russia troll. I assure you that I am not and that I seek the truth first before any allegiance to a political party. I suspect you do suffer the inverse phenomenon based on your statement here, but I will await your clarification. Do you place the truth higher in principle than political party? I ask you this question seriously… and obviously this question is meant to be read by a broader audience. Still, you are willing to at least step up and speak here.

The Mueller report found that the T rump campaign were quite happy to be receiving help from the Russians. We now know that Stone kept in frequent contact with the T rump campaign starting in April of 2016 about the leaks of stolen emails. You blithely downplay and discount the Mueller reports findings of widespread and systematic Russian interference.

I really thought I wasting my life reading forums and debunking stupidity. Then people started getting measles and shooting up pizza restaurants. I didn’t think a US Senator would believe a conspiracy theory.
Has anyone found responses to the sources he sites? He claims reputable reporting on this, like the Washington Examiner and The Economist. I know those lean right, but this is Breitbart stuff.
They don’t believe this conspiracy theory. They were actually informed that Russia was pushing this months ago by our intelligence agencies. They know what it is. They push it because their interests align better with Russian interests than US interests.
You just can’t tell what people believe. Like Duncan Hunter, for a year he’s been saying he didn’t do it, now he pleads guilty.
Fair enough. But they do have enough factual information that they should not believe it if they do. And it’s nearly impossible that all the Republicans pushing this narrative actually believe it after learning the facts before they started pushing it.
It is completely maddening. I’ve told people I know, and I’ve heard it said at the highest levels, that Evangelicals have lost credibility. I thought we were done with them after Romney lost in 2012 though, so their voting power is still strong. It seems they are risking everything on the gamble that they will maintain enough power to keep lying and cheating and getting away with it. The scary thing is, they could pull it off, at least for a few more years, maybe decades.
I’ve said it before, it’s a sad commentary on society when “Everybody dies” is a comforting thought. We’ve seen their power weaken significantly in our lifetimes, though. And now they think Republicans are actually going after abortion rights for them. Do you know how bad it would be for Republicans if they actually made abortion illegal? Every religion needs a devil. What happens to the religion when you’ve killed that devil? Oh, they’ll get to ride out the “Look what we did” for a decade or two. But eventually that tune will get old and conversation will turn to their behavior again, which is currently ignored because they’re fighting the devil, doing God’s work.
Who am I kidding? They’ll just make a new devil like they did with this one. The LGBT community, maybe. They’ll find a new endless battle to fight to keep the flock voting for them. But still, I think they would see an immediate hit overall. Pander too much to the fringe and you lose those in the middle.
Do you really believe that in another decade or two people will have the luxury for these sorts of frivolous worries?
You know I’m constantly hearing people talk about a couple decades down the line, or or half century, as though they imagine the world to be much as it is today?
I can’t fathom where the smug comfort comes from, I mean look at the physical planet that supplies all we depend on, and what we’ve done to that. Look at civil society in a time when coordinated focused action provides the only avenues for dealing the Harshening Climate Realities of the day, but instead our leaders are taking us to a Lord of Flies mentality, ‘I got mine and fuk you and yours.’
They really can’t see that right now on our physical planet changes are afoot will take us back to struggling for basic human needs, with all this fluff we’ve gotten addicted to and lost within, a fading memory?
I figure in two more decades today’s greed focused society will be a memory of a time long passed and greedy blind people who didn’t give a damned about the future. What a shame the future curses pointed in our direction can’t be transmitted back to us today. Might that make a difference? Probably not in a society where, me myself and I, seems to be all that matters anymore.
If someone believes I’m insane for stating that up there, may I ask if they know anything about evolution or the sweep of human history, or if they have paid any attention to the environmental degradation going on these past couple centuries, or the biosphere destruction that has gone ballistic during this past half century. Anyone really think that doesn’t matter and that we can ignore it the way we do?

Even if they don't really think it, there are a ton of people who want you to think those problems don't exist, that regulation is the problem. They want you to think that because there few remaining decades will be a lot easier if you think that. But knowing that motivation doesn't prove it is what they think. And since they use the very resources they exploited to obfuscate information, it's an uphill battle.
