The express purpose of an impeachment trial is to address serious offenses by a federal official to our system of government and maintain constitutional government. Removal from office is not the sole possible end result.

Actually, the part where they vote if he can run again for office or not, happens after he is charged and convicted with a crime or crimes. I wouldn’t be so sure that President Biden’s “unity” actually lies with Corporate Elites. Have you read his COVID recovery plan? It focuses on the people, the citizens of the U.S. and the Repugs really hate it because of that. The Repugs think large corporations should get the funds and not the citizens of the U.S. From what I can tell, the Repugs’ unity lies with large Corporations, NRA, and White Supremists. Now Kamala and President Biden’s “unity” remains to be seen if he continues to do things for the people and not large corporations.
