Democracy; representative or direct

We are talking around 13,000 children have died in the Gaza War according to Palestinian officials. Can’t trust Palestinian data. But we will use the data because it is all we have.

13,000 is based upon war data. Which is questionable. Starvation numbers is based upon people who are involved in raising funds and controlling funds that are designed to help children.

Child death in Gaza is 1% of the children population.

Any number is unacceptable to me. We must deal with the facts of life and try to place the blame based upon facts and not politically driven outcome objectives.

Now let’s look for common factors to find the American point of view.

Under Trump 1,500 children were lost and that was a major FU.

Under Biden 85,000 children are still lost and that does not seem to be an issue.

Therefore, one could conclude that American views children as a political tool. Example, America uses children to promote Climate Change, file lawsuits and promote the queer agenda.

The US government gives Americans money for having a child. We have major departments whose job is to give aid to families with children.

We have generational welfare in America based on raising children. Our government has departments to tell mothers how to feed their children better. We give money and food to mothers so they can feed the children. Yet, we still have schools that are required to feed the children because the parents don’t.

Covid has killed over 7M people. Covid was the leading cause of child death in American. And that was not a big enough issue with Americans to keep correct data on deaths of children.

Is it possible that the food and money we give to Gaza is used to structure the system that is killing the children today?

You tell me, are American views antisemitic or political?

Do Americans have high or low levels of morals when it comes to children?

Children are nearly half of Gaza’s population. Gaza’s 7.6 children per woman have been dropping contributed to what? It seems like, as the amount of aid declines. So does the birth rate.

Watch a documentary a couple years ago on Gaza that showed how families lived. The men have total control. A 70 plus man had a dozen grade school children. The family gets paid by the number of children. And he was working the children for money. I remember thinking that Gaza was a welfare system on steroids paid for by international aid. The aid started in 1948. “They’ve [Palestinians] gotten more aid than any group of people in history.” – The Washington Post.

Most of the Gaza Strip administration funding comes from outside as aid, with a large portion delivered by UN organizations directly to education and food supply. Most of the Gaza GDP of $700 million comes as foreign humanitarian and direct economic support. Governance of the Gaza Strip – Wikipedia

Do you agree that aid is an integral part of Gaza’s national product?

A yearly decline in aid from 2012 to 2019 saw a drop of 60% of funds.

In 2018 Trump t directed an overall review of U.S. assistance to the Palestinian Authority in the West Bank and Gaza. The decision was then made that money paid was not in the best interests of the U.S. national interest and does not provide value to the U.S. taxpayer.

Trump said, “that the hundreds of millions of dollars of aid that Palestinians receive “is not going to them unless they sit down and negotiate peace.” Then in 2018 America stopped funding the UNRWA for Gaza. Main reason was concern for the children. The US taxpayers had contributed more than $6B to the UNRWA.

We are very mindful of and deeply concerned regarding the impact upon innocent Palestinians, especially school children, of the failure of UNRWA and key members of the regional and international donor community to reform and reset the UNRWA way of doing business. These children are part of the future of the Middle East. Palestinians, wherever they live, deserve better than an endlessly crisis-driven service provision model. They deserve to be able to plan for the future. United States will intensify dialogue with the United Nations, host governments, and international stakeholders about new models and new approaches, which may include direct bilateral assistance from the United States and other partners, that can provide today’s Palestinian children with a more durable and dependable path towards a brighter tomorrow.

Trump also condemned the practice of US taxpayer’s money being used for payments to Gaza martyrs and prisoners’ families compensating families for acts of violence or terrorism against Israeli and U.S. citizens.

Trump then stopped tax dollars being used to fund terrorism committed by terrorist organizations in the area.

The Biden-Harris administration brought back the aid funding. China has been supporting Gaza and supports Palestine full membership in the UN.

I don’t believe Gaza’s leadership has any desire to stop the war. More war, more aid. Gaza leadership wants Israel to stop fighting and to leave. The Gaza people are being controlled by outside Arab groups. Gaza’s leadership don’t even live in Gaza. Most live in Qatar.

Point being. Gaza’s industry is foreign aid. If Gaza became a stand-alone nation. They would starve to death if the aid stopped. Gaza could be forced into a democratic system by foreign aid. This will not happen because Iran and China would fund Hamas. The best step for the children of Gaza in my opinion would be for Israel to take over control of Gaza. Unlike Ukraine no nation is offering to take in Palestinians. If Trump is reelected, then there is hope for the children.

No idea where you got these numbers, but I’m guessing it’s the program that did follow ups on immigrant children who were given to homes in America. None of them were lost. The people who did the follow up did not have data on where they are. It’s not their job. The government doesn’t put ankle bracelets on them. They don’t hire private detectives to track them down. They are free citizens. They can go where they want.

You have to take mikeyo comments in context in that he is a christian fundamentalist who really supports Israel Because They Think Doing So Will Bring Armageddon

WaPo reported this as a quote from Jared Kushner. How deceptive can you get Mike? It’s in an article where they fact check him. You left out the facts.

One truth is that for 50 years, willingly or not, Israël has promoted the Hamas.

In 1973, for Israël, the enemy was LPO and Hamas being an enemy of LPO, was a friend. Israël helped the Hamas against LPO

In 1973, Israël promoted the opening of a mosque, in Gaza, by Ahmed Yassine, leader of Muslim brothers in Gaza.

In 1987, LPO launched the first Intifada, to get a bi-state solution. Hamas was founded against LPO, to promote the destruction of Israël.

In 1995, Benyamin Netannyahou frees Ahmed Yassine, condemned to a life in jail, and let him go back to Gaza, to oppose Arafat.

In 2005, Sharon evacuates Gaza and gives it to Hamas, against LPO.

From 2007 to 2023, Israël blocks Gaza, which allows Hamas to control the enclave.

In 2009, Benyamin Netannyahou frees Hamas leader, among whom Yahya Sinouar, and keeps in jail 2 states solution promotors.

In 2017, Yahya Sinouar becomes the Hamas leader, military and politically.

The systematic destroying of Gaza as a space where one can live, and the killing of thousands of civilians are the seed of new Hamas fighters and when it will be finished, only Hamas will remain.

To give a rough idea of the number of civilians killed, imagine the killing of 5 millions of USA inhabitants, among them 500 000 children.

Of course I left it out. Did not want to corrupt my point of view.

I stand by my viewpoint.

I stand by Kushner. I believe he is correct.

What I posted was Kushner’s statement, is that not correct?

Your response does nothing to debate Kushner’s statement and takes the pathway that The Washington Post is correct. Fact checking is mostly used today as a political tool and that should be debated in another post and has no bearing on what I posted.

Example, the Washington Post calls Jan. 6 an insurrection. Which is totally laughable BS any way you look at it. Even several of the Supreme Court Justices refuse to acknowledge that Jan 6th was an insurrection. Or the point of no return on Climate Change. We are a generation past the point of no return and what happens to those facts? The facts are dead, but dogs keep barking.

I was aware of what the Washington Post was doing. They are terrible journalists with no morals when it comes to political issues using a two-tiered system. So why would I want to bring their viewpoint into my posting? Kushner on the other hand is a hard-working person trying to do what’s best for America and the children of Gaza. What is best for the Children of Gaza is the issue here. It is my viewpoint that had the Democrats not stopped Kushner that 13,000 children would still be alive today. This situation is just about par for the course. The United States has lost credibility around the world and our policies are looked at as dangerous and unworkable. If we are unable to get American captives back from Hamas quickly and destroy Hamas. Then in the eyes of the world Iran has won again and America is weak. The last time Iran kept American hostages for 444 days.

The subject matter is Gaza/Children. Kushner was comparing apples to apples, and I am trying to do the same.

Economic aid vs Military aid.

Economic aid is aid sent to the country to be given to the people in commodities and services.

Military aid is mostly given to US defense contractors.

Israel gets the most aid of any country from the US. 3.6 billion this year in Military Aid. That is not counting the $26.38 billion just voted for Israel in Military Aid. And another 6B given today. The United States has provisionally agreed (via a memorandum of understanding) to provide Israel with nearly $4 billion a year through 2028, and U.S. lawmakers are considering billions of dollars in supplementary funding for Israel amid its war with Hamas.

The US has been giving $600M annually since 1994 to Palestine through USAID. We are talking welfare funding. We are talking about food, housing, education, and medical. Not military aid. We only give Israel 5.7M of Economic Aid. By comparing Israel’s 5.7M to Palestine’s 600M in Economic Aid. Palestine is by far getting the most Aid.

Jared Kushner was representing America in dealing with Palestine. He was trying to help the children and get peace in the area. Kushner was talking about how the Economic Aid was working in Palestine. Palestine does not receive any Military Aid from the USA.

The Washington Post can be misleading on political issues. Not a mistake. Public trust in the news media is not that great.

The Washington Post fact-checking has a two-tier system with political bias. Bias, Bullshit and Lies: Audience Perspectives on Low Trust in the Media.

UNRWA funding is having trouble in the Senate Appropriations Committee hearing this last week because of teaching the children of Gaza how to become a terrorist.

  1. Fact checking is fact checking. It may seem like a political tool to those who disagree with the facts.
  2. What you posted has nothing to do with the thread topic, so…

It is correct. You wrote it as if it was an attribution to the Post, which is incorrect.

I don’t need to debate. WaPo does that, and you read it. Why should I copy something you already read?

I know you have a very different relationship with facts. No need to discuss it.

I barely skimmed the rest of your post.

Minor correction. Instead of LPO, should that not read PLO (Palestine Liberation Organization) ?

Yes. Too hasty and bad transcription from French (OLP = organisation de libération de la Palestine)

Democracy; representative or direct is the topic.
We are set up to operate by the constitution the above definitions systems in a shared power by state and federal using a checks and balance three branch system. Today that system is not working. We are operating in a system that has Departments running the system. If we only had a one-party state system, then we would be set up as the old USSR.

Yes, and we had that discussion about 100 posts back. We disagreed.

You realize we have some 335,000,000 people in this country.
How is any Government going to run without Departments?

Are you going after the experts and bureaucrats next?

What the heck is going on here, a GOP Great Leap Forward

Can you give one example of a department not following the law or operating beyond it’s budget?

US Department of Education

The system. The DOE’s programs must be authorized by Congress and legislation. Then signed into law by the president.

This has not happened with student loans. Congress and the Supreme Court have said no to student loan forgiveness.

The DOE according to Biden has now forgiven $160 billion in student loans. The DOE acted using a loophole. Total cost over a decade is $750B

So now if congress takes the DOE to court and it is ruled that the DOE did not follow the guidelines of Congress. How will the DOE get the money back? The payments are being used to buy votes for the upcoming election.

The Best Way to Buy Votes Is With Other People’s Money

Maybe after student loans, Biden will make his way to mortgages and car loans. – WSJ

As for the budget. The House is unable to get data from many of the main departments. The department operating over their budget is almost impossible to track without data. The budget was passed for 2024 with less than 72 hours for the congresspeople to review.

The Biden administration is not releasing any numbers that make sense. The numbers are all over the board. The chairman of the House Budget Committee said yesterday that the 22 million illegals are costing the federal government about $9,000 each per year.

The problem coming up is some states are wanting reimbursement for all their costs on illegals. And that can be more than what the federal is paying per illegal in some states.

CIA. You need to ask harder questions

This is the same guy who fought to cut SNAP access by quoting 2 Thessalonians 3:10. A very reasonable source, for sure.

OTOH,

$4.5 to $5.4 billion

In the first three years following legalization, the “higher earning power of newly legalized workers…would generate $4.5 to $5.4 billion in additional net tax revenue” at the federal level, according to a 2010 study from the North American Integration and Development (NAID) Center at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA).

Most immigrants , legal or not, earn their keep.

That was true when immigrants were workers and not political opportunists. That ended with the Biden administration. It used to be those immigrants not speaking English or understanding the system or laws. With no transportation or phone were able to be working with in weeks of getting to America. Whereas many American graduating high schools in the big cities were sometimes taking one to two years to find a job. Causing many to take out loans and go back to school.

Forget all the data and facts on immigrants from the past. Or you will be comparing apples to oranges. Today’s illegals consist of many families. A many will cost more just to pay for educating their children than they will earn.

America for decades has had a percentage of immigrant scammers costing the Taxpayers when it comes to immigrant organized crime. Taxpayers end up paying more for insurance and medical services that are not counted or looked at by the government agencies. For example, Toyota will lease a car in Northern California cheaper than in Southern California. A form of red lining. Famers insurance stop offering some insurance in California. The insurance companies get hit hard by fraud. Biden has put out the Welcome Mat to all organized crime and terrorists’ organizations. This will end up costing you in many ways.

Seems it’s more a case of immigrants being desperate for jobs (read work) opportunities that no longer exist in their homelands, because of outside factors beyond their control.

It’s politicians and their rich over-lords (and lackies) who are injecting all the “politics” and “hostility,” “deception,” and “lies” into the immigration issue.

Case in point,
