Why isn't the Center for Inquiry taking on the Big Lie about the 2020 presidential election?

  • The hugest hoax devastating America right now is the Big Lie that Donald Trump actually won the 2020 presidential election.
  • Yet, the Center for Inquiry (CFI) seems to be on the sidelines on this issue, focuing instead on much smaller issues.
  • This election scam far outweighs the damage done by homeopathic treatments, which seems to be CFI’s main project at the present.
  • CFI needs to do more than what Democrats and Never Trumpers are doing, which is just calling the Big Lie a big lie, while the Trumpers keep asserting that Trump won the 2020 presidential election and that Trump is, right now, the real and legimate president of the United States (albeit “in exile”), due to a vast, evil, organized conspiracy against democracy carried out by Democrats or some other power.
  • CFI needs to organize a public trial, to be broadcast on TV (or at least YouTube), with experts witnesses and top lawyers vigorously advocating for each side. (Even witnesses such as Donald Trump and Rudy Giuliani should be invited to testify, provided they also agree to be cross-examined.)
  • With this trial, Americans who want to know reality will be able to see the facts and alleged facts being openly, fully, and fairly presented, sifted through, considered, and cross-examined.
  • At the end of the trial, a jury on the set can take a vote, and also viewers will be able to vote online or by phone.
  • This could create a credible reference point for all who talk about the 2020 presidential election.
  • Such a device is necessary, since the U.S. sadly does not have a government commissioin that provides a ruling on the fairness or legitimacy of any national election.
  • Such a project seems to be exactly what CFI was created to do.
  • So, I am puzzled by CFI’s seeming silence and inactivity on the biggest hoax in American history.
  • What’s going on?
  • Why do I keep getting emails from CFI about CFI’s work in suing Walgreens and CVS for selling homeopathic remedies, while CFI does nothing about the most dangerous, damaging, deliberate, and devasting hoax in our nation’s history?
  • I conducted numerous searches on the website of the Center for Inquiry, using search terms such as:
  • Trump
  • election
  • 2020
  • I found nothing that was an investigation by CFI into the claim that Donald Trump was the true winner of the 2020 presidential election and the claim that Joe Biden was declared the winner only because of massive election fraud/cheating.
  • The CFI website includes these statements:
*“The Center for Inquiry strives to foster a secular society based on reason, science, freedom of inquiry, and humanist values.”
*“To move forward, we need to discard old superstitions, prejudices, and magical thinking and embrace facts, evidence, and critical thinking.”
  • Homeopathic medical treatment is an example of science-denialism, fact-denialism, and magical thinking. It is right and good that CFI has a major project to expose homeopathic medicine as the hoax or fraud that it is.
  • But the claim that Donald Trump won the 2020 presidential election appears to also be a massive case of science-denialism, fact-denialism, and magical thinking.
  • So, why is CFI dedicated to exposing homeopathic medicine, which is consumed by only a tiny number of Americans, while CFI ignores the huge hoax regarding the 2020 presidential election–a hoax that led to a major riot at the Capitol on January 6, 2021, and a hoax which still threatens to bring about an end of free , fair, and constitutional elections for all Americans?
