There is only one real world, and we all live in it. It’s too big for any one of us to perceive all of it, and for some it’s too big for them to find any comfort or make any sense of it. So, we find comfort in a small set of facts that fit with what we think is true.
For immigration, the numbers that get repeated the most are the people crossing the border. Even though people drown doing it, it gets called an open border. Even though border patrol reports on it, it’s said that nothing is being done. That’s reality.
None of Biden’s limp wristed measures have worked because they are cosmetic. We send a few thousand back and 10 times that number show up again. The current immigration fix is exactly the same thing. Just for show, except now it’s an election year.
Immigration can easily be stopped, there is just no will to do it. Europeans need young immigrants to pay into their very generous social programs because Euro Boomers didn’t have enough children.
As for Climate change causing mass immigration in the future – if that is the case, then the people with the most firepower and the will to use it are going to be the deciding factor.
You’re not listening, or paying attention.
Nothing will get solved that way.
But we all know that already.
If you knew more about what the “climate crisis” is about, and those trajectories developing before our eyes you’d appreciate that fire power isn’t going to win anything for anyone. You think we can keep wantonly blowing up everything in sight?

That was after Trump had promised Mexico was going to pay for that wall.
And then Trump “pardoned” these convicted criminals who stole American Taxpayer’s money. Very productive?
That was not the point of that comment. Straw manning is the technical term. Pointing and laughing is for schoolyards. There are plenty of forums that encourage it. Just sayin’.
If things get that bad, then liberal values will disappear fast. And if the point is to stop a huge surge in immigration, then firepower would help a lot. Morally it would be unacceptable, but survival always beats morality.
