I think he answered that. He looked at economic data. Data that was trending toward a better state, and those trends continued. Mostly. He ignores the effects of the pandemic and what Trump did to make them worse.

If Donald Trump would of continued and he played down the effect of the covid like he was doing he would of found A cure and give to the people. Reality look at Biden he has done nothing but promote more vaccines and vaccines are killing people. Various sources claim they do not work sorry about that but unfortunately even news about special plant in peru which can cure covid and know that covid has things the same as malaria and can be cured by other plants. No, people mask with cotton cannot stop dieseas sorry they still go thru your ears and eyes. The ”scientists” had no vaccine. They were still working in Operation Warp Speed. There was nothing available for the people. People were dying. What Trump did was to get the best there was at the time for people with no hope. That is what we should hope every president would do.

But when Biden remarked that Trump suggested ingesting bleach everybody goes into a rage because Trump did not specifically say injecting bleach.
And now Trump is the savior and Biden is the liar and responsible for the entire pandemic and all the variants that viruses naturally produce when people refuse to get vaccinated and carry the virus longer so that it can mutate.
Before you start blaming anybody for being responsible, you should start with all the people who refused to be vaccinated. They are responsible for this lingering and now possible endemic blight. But Biden makes a convenient scapegoat , because he speaks softly and reasonably instead of slinging BS at everybody that he can besmirch.
