Only in your mind. Domestic terrorism is a SERIOUS problem when someone like the dotard encourages Right Wing Extremist domestic terrorists to raid the capital and attempt to attack, maybe even kill (ie his VP, Pence) people.
January 6 was a complete failure. Even with the pathetic response by Capitol police the constitutional processes went on as usual and the only person killed was one of the rioters. (The other deaths were self-caused). American foreign policy has been nonstop bumbling for at least a decade, and causes nonstop death and destruction. And it’s condoned by nearly everyone in authority.
Invading the Nation’s Capitol and commit murder and mayhem does! That it din’t succeed is irrelevant.
The Beer Putsch didn’t count either when Hitler was convicted of treason and after doing time became chancellor, started WWII, and killed 6 million Jews.
Es, not everything boils from facts. Facts must be analyzed and conclusions must be drawn.
But opinions without facts are dreams, prejudices and mistakes, and some of them can be dangerous.
One must start from facts. Science began the day it went to the fact, breaking with immediate perception and went to the facts.

Rejecting honest dialogue and turning your backs on known facts and trashing America’s one time sense of Fair Play.
Playing make-believe war against our government is plenty dangerous and appalling and it’s guaranteed to drag our society down a vicious cycle of increasing violence, rather than help us deal with the real existential issues facing us these days.
I get your point, although I wouldn’t call it the “best thing”. 
I have been trying to understand the conspiracy mindset since I got on the internet in 1993, before that really. It’s good that there is more talk about it, more studies, ideas on how to talk with someone who does not use reason. I try to not say “I told so”, that they would eventually find each other. I didn’t think they could “organize”, but it seems they did encourage each other.
Next time it might not be. It did come close to succeeding though, but you being a scenic as you are, you don’t believe the extremists will succeed with anything and life will go on as it has been.
If they had gotten hold of just 1 representative hostage they would have succeeded in stopping the verification process. They came a hair’s breadth (30 feet) from succeeding!!!

War has a precise definition of open, declared, armed conflict between two sides. Jan.6 was criminal act. As for domestic terrorism , talk of that nonsense frightens paranoid liberals but the chances of Right Wing Death Squads taking down the government is less than zero.

I think Trump is engaged in an existential struggle to stay out of prison. The only way he can avoid incarceration is by becoming president again. Presidents are immune and 2 efforts to impeach him have already failed.
He would not hesitate to kill (have somebody do that for him) if it would benefit him. He has already promised to pardon all the insurrectionists that have been convicted or that may be still be convicted.
Actually that is witness tampering and may bring an additional criminal charge.
This scenario is so bizarre it boggles the mind.
The president of the US trying to overthrow the government of the US so that he can assume dictatorship that makes him immune from prosecution.
This tale is stranger than fiction.
Okay, not war. Republicans’ are simply dedicated to willfully tearing apart the American fabric of our government and societal norms. Bullying, intimidating, superiority, lawlessness, threats & promises of violence, along with an undercurrent of sadism.

You know guy, we have so many really important problems these days, existential matters touching every aspect of our lives, in particular, but not limited to, preparing for Earth’s increasingly destructive weather. Every area with its own challenges and future, but our business and political leaders rather play their i b d w wars, while pampering themselves - and people just love lapping up their media/entertainment of choice.

People think they know him from watching his old tv show “the apprentice”
But no one has read the actual biography of his life, which is a path strewn with economic nightmares.

I do know that everything doesn’t come down to “facts” because we are emotional animals, with instincts and intuitions that can’t be reduced by some fact based algorithm.
Still facts are facts and they do matter - Why do you make it sound as though they are dismissible, that is irrelevant when you want them to be irrelevant?
When you erase historical facts you can replace them with alternate facts.
