“Previously Unreleased” rant:
Sometimes it really seems like just a grab for money from the foolishly dedicated. I first got that impression with Led Zeppelin’s Coda. “So here’s some stuff that wasn’t good enough to make it through a cut for release when they were together… but scarcity raises value”…
So now to flip this to #2 … I don’t know what involvement the remaining members had in the release? Was it a strong-arm by the record company? …etc. (and I still don’t care enough to look it up)
So that’s the thing - as entertainment, I’m only interested in what they present to me as their “Product”. All the background noise I could care less about.
