Blarp blarp
Blarpity-blarp.
How is this determined?
I don’t understand the test.
Natural afterlife requires magic. No?
There is another problem with your thesis- there is no scientific evidence for an afterlife. If you have a link to real science and no pseudo-science it would be interesting to read, but I don’t think anyone can show real scientific evidence of an afterlife.
As best as I can figure, and it’s a stretch, the thesis is, since the universe is really, really big*, and if you count universes (either multiverse, or expanding/contracting, or any other theory), then it is infinite, therefore, it is possible that you could live again, like, the same “you”.
- "You just won’t believe how vastly, hugely, mind-bogglingly big it is. I mean, you may think it’s a long way down the road to the chemist’s, but that’s just peanuts to space.”
Okay miastarr, a tip of my hat to you for producing and sharing your thoughts.
I’ve had a chance to read through it.
But, besides having to focus on a half year old sweetie who crawls mighty well. Over this past four day weekend, she attacked and mastered the stairs with an enthusiasm and determination that frankly beats and outshines her brothers at that age. Of course, she has the incentive of two lively boys she’s always watching and wanting to keep up with - (every child grows up within a unique family, even if all share the same family)
Thanks’be, that they still take naps and today I’m soloing until early evening.
And, beyond those distractions, I don’t think you’d like, or appreciate, my critique, so I’ll simply move along. See, it’s that I look at these things from an apparently rather unique evolutionary-bottom-up-perspective, that seems to offend rather than enlighten.
Wishing you the best of luck.
Personally I question the concept of an “Afterlife”
The term “Life” and “Deah” are well-defined and Death is the cessation of Life in any form, Prelife or Afterlife alike.
False labeling it pseudo-science won’t save your false worldview.
Putting all your faith in the dictionary is lame.
Your commitment to never learning is questionable.
Sorry to hear that. Wou’dn’t want to preach too much!
According to you there should be a “prelife” as well as an “afterlife” and essentially no “death”, no?
There goes the rest of science and the medical world.
Seems to me that it is you who needs to take the “generally accepted” dictionary definitions a little more seriously before you start dismissing the rest of the educated world in favor of your unfalsifiable hypothesis.
You have as yet to provide proof of your “flights of fancy”, and I am being generous.
No. The good people of CFI want you to believe that falsehood.
Specifically what falsehood might that be?
No more trolling from you, please.
Ah, I call it debating the merits of a questionable hypothesis.
So far it is you who has behaved inappropriately. You are a guest in this house. Act accordingly!
How dare the troll speak of proper behavior. People wish you didn’t exist.
Ohh, you speak for the people? And who’s people might that be.
If you think you can intimidate me, you are mistaken in your narcissistic arrogance.
Haha. I can read. You’ve been called out before and threatened with account closure.
I am a 20 year member. And what do you seek on this forum? Approval?
