This shows you don’t know a thing about the U.S. criminal justice system and probably are a Russian troll/puppet.
The 1/6 Committee has shown evidence to the dotard et al committing federal felony crimes and the DOJ is taking up the charges against him and others involved. That much is factual. Thus, if the judge sees fit to sentence the dotard then he will be sentenced for a period of time in prison. In a court of law, one who is charged with a crime, is brought before their peers in a court of law with their attorney present. In this case, we have the 1/6 Committee presenting the evidence, which you have apparently not seen fit to watch it. They’ve brought in witnesses to testify and everything else. The 1/6 Committee is the prosecuting attorneys presenting their discovery to the judge, charging the dotard et al with crimes against the U.S.- a coup, domestic terrorism, and inciting a riot. Not sure what the time is on all of that.
Now Bannon, who served under him, is up before a judge for his part in this mess and he could get up to two years, from what I understand, in prison. So what makes you think that the dotard won’t be brought before the DOJ for the charges against him? And with others going to prison for this, what makes you think that the dotard won’t go to prison?
Side note: Discovery is what the prosecuting attorney finds by way of evidence against the accused.
Secondly, who is the jury in this case, you may ask- well, it could be the whole U.S., but I’d be lying if I made that statement as a fact.
Thirdly, one can be charged with crimes, brought before a judge and jury, and then be proven guilty or innocent. Thing is, if you have been watching, which you have not, there is too much evidence against the dotard for him not to be brought before a judge for these charges against him. The 1/6 Committee is showing the dotard’s guilt with the evidence. The DOJ is taking up the case because of all the evidence. Their discovery is very convincing for people who watch the depositions and the evidence the 1/6 Committee presents.
In conclusion, it is a fact that the dotard did incite a riot, didn’t stop it for over 3 hours, thus committed domestic terrorism, and attempted a coup. Now the DOJ will decide if the dotard will dragged in before him and whether or not he will serve time for his Federal felony crimes and how much time. The guilt isn’t in the sentencing for the crime. The guilt or innocence is decided by the jury. The sentence is decided by the judge. One can be found guilty of a crime and never serve a day in prison- in the U.S. at least. So don’t confuse a judge’s final sentencing with guilt.
