What are the processes involved in an abortion?

I’ve had my part in the process and learned that there are two way to go about it. Either you don’t care which is a great possibility or you don’t want to know. I don’t care either way, can anyone here on this forum give details to either one or both processes involved in what it takes to extract an unborn child?

Btw I don’t care about your political views on the issue.
