Who said they were losing? Who said anyone was losing or winning? War is hell and soldiers do die during war. Soldiers also become maimed. I am anti-war, but sometimes one or even a country has to defend themselves and that is what the Ukraine is doing- defending themselves and country. Russia started the war by invading Ukraine. Ukraine does not have to back down in what Russia started, because they are defending their people and their country. What about that do you not get?
How would you behave if someone stormed into your home with weapons, started killing family members, and tearing up your home? I seriously doubt you would not fight back and I doubt you would back down and hand over your home to the intruder. Well, that’s the Russia to the Ukraine. Russia is the home invader and the Ukraine is defending their home.

Every non govt military analyst. Ukraine is suffering heavy losses and retreating the Donbass. More weapons are lost than provided by the west. The longer this goes on the probability of ukraine no longer existing increases
Because the people of east ukraine refused to accept the authority of a new govt of Kiev through a far right coup d’état in 2014 and called for autonomy.
That’s always the justification of the war monger, that some peaceful people asked for help.

What new government? Putin hasn’t became the dictator of Ukraine yet and Ukraine hasn’t surrendered either. So Ukraine still governs themselves. I still have the feeling you’re a Russian puppet, but one can’t be banned for being a puppet.
