Could we please just leave these trolls alone? They aren’t going to resolve anything or add any light on these topics. Headlines like Biden reducing drilling in the Arctic leave out a different set of facts about the number of permits per year, or a 2% increase in production this year. These are not amazing breakthrough insights that will change our lives. Stateless has already shown a Russian bias. They are here to disrupt, distract, and keep us busy while the real evil in the world goes on.

I agree, but the world is addicted to oil and it is going to take just about all the remaining oil (40 years worth) to shift from oil to electricity.
Fortunately, the sun is a reliable and inexhaustible source of energy.
It is the electrical distribution infrastructure that needs to be streamlined for industrial use.
Millions of gas-burning vehicles will have to be replaced with electric cars, trucks, boats, trains, and airplanes, along with a worldwide web of electric charging stations for all forms of transportation.
Where oil becomes too expensive, coal can sustain energy production for awhile, but eventually coal too will be replaced by solar, wind, and hydro.
I might add that wars use a lot of oil, wasted on killing people.
p.s. Ukraine has lots of oil that Putin would like to get his hands on.
