That was interesting, and reassuring that my skepticism is well placed.
Facebook and others that follow that same format have always felt repulsive to me.
So I’ve actually got very little experience with them.
They make me think of the tossing poop at the wall and seeing what sticks, or something like that. When it’s the coherent conversation I’m after. All the lies and banner waving simply confuses and irritates.

Authoritarian measures includes heavy fines to hold people accountable. Includes educators .

Challenge is disinterested.
The philosophical view, stemming from the Latin for “nothing,” that asserts life is inherently meaningless, moral values are baseless, or scientific knowledge is useless, is also invariably connected to a superficial and false appraisal of reality (via political opportunism) whose paralysis is personified by the likes of Bernie Sanders, especially exemplified by his efforts within the political confines and framework of nationalism.
But even if the workings of actuarial statistics were to suddenly remove Trump from the scene, it would not halt the drive to dictatorship. The war on democracy and the working class would continue.
This objective cause of the breakdown of democracy is verified by the fact that parallel processes are being manifested in all major capitalist countries. Throughout Europe neo-fascist parties are gaining strength. The drive toward dictatorship is a global phenomenon.
The determination that is required to take up and wage this fight is connected to and relies on the alignment of consciousness with the very global antithesis of the reactionary, outdated and self-defeating ideology of “nothing” and human annihilation.
I fully agree with that. As soon as and if I have some time i will explain why.
Very briefly:
- the crisis of capitalism
- the reject of globalisation
- the ideologies of hate spawned by some politicians avid for powers and playing on the fears of the people.
In fact, we are in 1932, the lessons of the 1930 having been forgotten. And with a big difference, being that the strength of democracy seems much weaker.
