Texas decided to shut down abortions, in order to save masks and gloves, and the Federal District Court approved it. Circuit Judge Kyle Duncan, who was appointed by President Donald Trump, wrote the majority opinion.
“The order applies to even non-surgical abortions that don’t require masks and gloves, and violators face steep fines and jail time, according to Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton, also a Republican.”
I suspect that we will be impinged on more and more by the Conservative Federal Court System that T rump has ushered in. The federal courts decided yesterday that people in Wisconsin had to breech the stay-home order if they wanted to vote. The ones who risked their and their families lives to vote, wound up standing in crowded lines, for an average of 1.5 to 2.5 hours. Now that is an aggressive strategy - kill off some voters. Those Repugs don’t mess around trying to be nice or moral or human.
The Repugs have the courts with them this election cycle. They will likely be able to get all of their usual tricks through for suppressing the vote. Fewer votes is always good for the Repugs. In the past, the Courts have blocked some, but not all, voter suppression tactics by the Repugs. Probably not so much now.

T rump tells us daily in his Pandemic Propaganda and Campaign Re-election Panel that there is no shortage of the personal protective equipment for frontline health professionals. When he is questioned about that claim, he shuts down the reporter who asked and claims all of the videos of health professionals who are shown on networks, telling everyone that they are at serious risk because of not having PPE’s is FAKE NEWS. If T rump is telling the truth, then why is Texas so short on gloves and masks that they must ban abortions?

I haven’t seen the so called “FAKE NEWS” videos of Texas frontline healthcare providers talking about shortages of PPE’s. Maybe when the peak hits in Texas. But maybe not. By then there may be plenty of PPE.
But in the meantime the repugs have made Roe v. Wade no longer in effect.
