Here’s an interesting way of trying to communicate with voters that is geared to the realities of today’s society. It offers up serious lessons in comic book form.
Project 2025, also known as “Mandate for Leadership: The Conservative Promise,” is a document created to be a roadmap for a second Donald Trump presidency. It was prepared by the ultra-conservative Heritage Foundation and many former Trump staffers–those who didn’t leave in disgrace, quit in disgust, or narrowly avoid getting hanged by his mob.
Trump claims to know nothing about it. He’s lying. [1] And if elected, Trump’s lack of self-discipline and fathomless self-absorption means that the people he surrounds himself with will have free rein to enact Project 2025’s agenda.
So we’ve made comics to explain some of that agenda, and move you to vote against it.
We did this because you shouldn’t have to read this monstrosity. After all, it’s more than fifty times as long as the Declaration of Independence and the U.S. Constitution…combined.
Our two founding documents are short because it doesn’t take a lot of words to say “You matter, and you have a voice.” Project 2025 is longer because it’s a detailed plan to shut you up, and shut you out.
A majority of voters feel negatively about Project 2025, a conservative blueprint for the next Republican presidency that Vice President Harris has used to attack former President Trump, an NBC News poll released this week showed.
The poll, conducted Sept. 13-17, found that about 57 percent of voters said they feel negatively toward the 900-page document outlining a conservative agenda, compared to 4 percent who felt positively. Sixteen percent said they felt neutral, while 23 percent were unsure or didn’t know the name.
This is not gaining traction with voters on polling data with trump leading and in the betting markets. All the air in the room is being sucked out by the biden harris genocide
Wow, hold on a minute.
Are you intimating that Hamas is not engaged in the genocide of innocent civilians?
Last I heard is that they killed 1200 people engaged in a peaceful international celebration, in cold blood!
Israel is applying the well-known tenet that you can only achieve peace through strength, not through weakness. If Israel stops bombing, Hamas will not hesitate to take advantage.
It is Hamas that is holding innocent civilians as hostages, which is a crime by all international standards. They cannot be allowed to set any rules or they win!
Hamas terrorists will be dying until they release the hostages.
There is no intentional bombing of civilians by Israel. It is Hamas who uses innocent civilians as shields. Another act of crime against humanity on Hamas’ part.
The deaths of innocents is the intent of terrorists. But it cannot prevent Israel from killing Hamas, until Hamas is gone and Palestine pledges peace.
Israel has no choice. They are engaged in an existential war that is being forced on them from all sides since 1948
The first war, in 1948–49, began when Israel declared itself an independent state following the United Nations’ partition of Palestine and five Arab countries—Egypt, Iraq, Jordan, Lebanon, and Syria—attacked Israel.
And have not ceased their hostilities from that day on.
Generic comment from Frank. “Whatever someone else says, that’s wrong”. But “the genocide”, boy is he behind the news cycle. Hamas got some attention and the news was that Netanyahu might have to change tactics, but the war machine finds a way to keep going. Kill, but not so much that it looks like you might kill them all. Have some human interest on your side to keep it complicated. People will get bored and let you get back to stealing land quietly. And for rizzo, he can claim to be on the right side of history while playing video games or whatever he does.
We The People have a moral ethical right - along with a pragmatic need - to learn what scientists have learned about this planet’s biosphere and climate engine without constant dishonest crossfire.
We should not tolerate serious scientists always being drown out by amoral, dishonest and frankly ignorant arguments - that an astoundingly ruthless PR factory repeats over and over again, without ever learning a damned thing from the evidence in front of us.
