Project 2025 Dominionist take over playbook

It’s 922 pages to peruse at your leisure, but it’s a must read because it is the playbook if Dotard gets into office. He denies anything to do with it, but that’s a lie. He knows if people believe he is part of it, which he is, he will most certainly lose the election.

Heritage Foundation is the one who is behind it, with that vile orange creature:

Highlights that everyone needs to know: They want this nation to be a Christian Nation, when it never was. Which means a lot of hell for those who are not their brand of Xianity.

Next up women- no abortions and not birth control. They are planning to attack women’s health care and rights tooth and nail, literally.

The dotard will be king and we won’t get a choice. They will feed the wealthy at the expense of the those who are not wealthy.

Summary:

The Alliance Defending Freedom, a conservative legal group that is on the Project 2025 advisory board, was involved in a legal challenge to mifepristone’s 2000 approval and more recent actions from the FDA that made it easier to obtain. But the Supreme Court rejected the case brought by a group of anti-abortion rights doctors and medical associations on procedural grounds.

The policy book also recommends the Justice Department enforce the Comstock Act against providers and distributors of abortion pills. That 1873 law prohibits drugs, medicines or instruments used in abortions from being sent through the mail.

Women will die despite the next paragraph that says it will “promote the life of women and their unborn children”. It’s more like their death.

LGBTQ can’t be parents anymore. Must be a man and a woman.

In a section titled “The Family Agenda,” the proposal recommends the Health and Human Services chief “proudly state that men and women are biological realities,” and that “married men and women are the ideal, natural family structure because all children have a right to be raised by the men and women who conceived them.”

Further, a program within the Health and Human Services Department should “maintain a biblically based, social science-reinforced definition of marriage and family.”

Rollback on Transgender rights.
Destroy the National Weather Service because it is “harmful to U.S. future prosperity”.

Expel immigrants.

They mention dotard’s denial of knowing anything about it and attempts to distance himself for it so he can win the election, but it is the Repug plan.

Project 2025 is led by the Heritage Foundation. It does not directly come from Mr. Trump. But that’s only part of the story.

Portions of the plan were driven by people who were top advisers to Mr. Trump during his first term and would most likely serve in prominent roles if he wins in November.

Why I say don’t let the dotard fool you? This article where he talks about one of the people on Project 2025:

The part of why he’s denying any connection, which is a lie:

Yet biden is not prepared to make this front and centre to his campaign

It’s still early, but that’s not discussing the insanity in Project 2025. It’s just making accusation against President Biden.

Yes thats right. Its not being discussed and its not early . Its over for biden as he has lost his brain

Like so many others, you do not understand the U.S. political system and how it is set up. It is not over for Biden until after the election. That said, this has nothing to do with the content of Project 2025. You keep focusing on President Biden. This has nothing to do with him. Now stay on topic, because more warnings will only get you suspended for a while.

Students need to be concerned.

The agenda seeks to advance private school choice and parents’ rights policies that have already become popular in many Republican-led states. But it would also change the entire fabric of federal education policymaking and how federal education laws are enforced by eliminating the Education Department and devolving the federal education functions that remain to other agencies.

Aside from eliminating the Education Department, here are some of the project’s other proposals:

  • Passing a federal parents’ bill of rights similar to those passed in a number of Republican-led states, which the Project 2025 agenda says would give parents stronger standing in court “when the federal government enforces any policy against parents in a way that undermines their right and responsibility to raise, educate, and care for their children";
  • Transitioning Title I to a “no-strings-attached” block grant administered by state education departments—which could allow the funds to flow directly to parents in the form of education savings accounts to be used for private school and other educational expenses—before phasing it out over the next decade;
  • Distributing special education funds under the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act to school districts as “no-strings-attached” block grants or directly into education savings accounts for parents to use on private school and other educational expenses;
  • Scaling back the federal government’s ability to enforce civil rights laws like Title IX, which prohibits sex-based discrimination, and Title VI, which prohibits race-based discrimination by moving enforcement of those laws to the Justice Department and requiring that the federal government litigate potential violations in court, rather than through the more common route of negotiating settlements with school districts to change their practices;
  • Scrapping the Biden administration’s Title IX revision, which would explicitly prohibit discrimination on the basis of sexual orientation and gender identity;
  • Allowing states to opt out of federal education programs and devoting their share of federal education funds “toward any lawful education purpose under state law.” The agenda asserts that federal education programs’ “regulatory burden far exceeds the federal government’s less than 10 percent financing share of K–12 education.”

Project 2025: What is it? Who is behind it? How is it connected to Trump?

By Gram Slattery - July 12, 2024

WASHINGTON, July 12 (Reuters) - A set of conservative policy proposals known as Project 2025 has become a lightning rod for opponents of Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump as they seek to highlight what they say are the dangers of him retaking the White House.

Trump has recently tried to distance himself from Project 2025, even though many of his closest policy advisers are deeply involved. The campaign of Democratic President Joe Biden says the project is proof that Trump would adopt a series of authoritarian and hard-right policies if elected.

Yes, they do need to worry, because it won’t be an education. It will be a brainwashing.

I hear Trump as been denying any knowledge of “Project 2025.”

It’s amazing how much MAGA T has never heard about, and to think he’s always the smartest guy in the room, yet doesn’t read and never remembers anything challenging - well except for those glorious teen angels - oh but that wasn’t a challenge, just pleasure and profit.

You say I kid you? Trump is God’s gift to white Americans. And I think, Seriously? Wanna go there? Okay. :bouquet:

Oh but we were discussing Project 2025, excuse the digression.

This is the age of recorded history.

Lordy There Are Tapes!

Trump Caught On Video Praising Project 2025

Farron Balanced - 7-13-2024

Donald Trump is still claiming that he knows absolutely nothing about The Heritage Foundation’s Project 2025, even though 80% of the people involved with it have worked for him at some point.

And now his denials look even dumber after a two-year-old video resurfaced of Trump praising (through his slurs) Heritage for working on his blueprints for what he’ll do if he gets back into office. He knew about it from the beginning and has actively encouraged it, as Farron Cousins explains.

Haven’t seen tapes since Watergate with Nixon.

The most extreme and dangerous MAGA dream of destroying what’s left of our Democratic government… Considering the Climate Science implication alone, the dangers are even more extreme for the future.

Has biden mentioned this? Does he even know?

Yo, stateless, why don’t you mention this? Do you even care?

I first raise 2025 here Mr serious

American capitalism, struggling to offset its massive decline, is compelled to rely heavily on its state as a weapon against both foreign and domestic enemies, launching catastrophic new wars and lurching towards dictatorship. This was expressed particularly sharply in the Republican convention itself.’

Fascism comes to the fore when capitalism breaks and down, and employs state power to protect wealth and property of the financial elite and maintain class relations. The Biden Administration was installed in 2020 as a stop-gap measure, in an attempt to calm the political waters and apprehension within the ruling elite about Trumps often erratic behavior, his criticisms of NATO, etc.

In effect, Biden/Harris were kind of ‘Trump-lite’. Since 2020, the decline of late-stage American capitalism has accelerated, readily seen with astronomically expensive military/strategic debacles, including the $2 trillion/2-decade long disaster in Afghanistan, with encore performances being played out in Ukraine and West Asia (Gaza), an orgy of debt- US govt debt is approaching $35 trillion & growing ~ $1 trillion/100 days; levels of municipal, corporate & consumer debt are at record levels. This is taking place in an economic environment of declining wages/living standards for working people coupled with high inflation. No doubt, the ruling elite are apprehensive about increasing militancy of working people and growing protests against Israel’s war on Gaza.

In response, the ‘system’ vomits up Trump to ‘lead’ the American Empire, who will likely pursue even more repressive/dictatorial/fascistic forms of rule. One of the refrains emanating from the Republican Convention in Milwaukee are ‘fiscal responsibility’- code words for slashing social spending- cutting Medicare and looting the SS trust fund. Bottom line- the average working family in the US is facing a very bleak economic future, in an increasingly repressive and chaotic society.

Are you sure?

SAVING DEMOCRACY!!!:face_with_hand_over_mouth:

Democrats on North Carolina election board block Cornel West from appearing on presidential ballot

You’re seeing the real problem. A two party system is the second worse system. The two parties agreed to keep others out of the debates after 1984. Things have been getting worse since then.

It’s not Capitalists behind Project 2025 or at least not just Capitalists. It’s Dominionists.

I’ve discuss this before on this forum. Dominionists have been trying to take over this country for many decades and because they got their creature in office and feel they can put him back in, they believe they have control over this country and will destroy Democracy, in favour of putting their religious ideology in government. Look at as Christian Sharia.

Heinlein was a libertarian, but a logical one. He envisaged a christian dictatorship in USA, in a novel published in 1940 for the fist time.
