Yes. I know you did. There were other things you didn’t do. There were things you didn’t do until someone pointed it out. There were unnecessary things you did. There were personal comments about people. There was a lot. I often don’t finish your posts because I know it’s pointless. We’ve been over all of this many times.
Florida did not have to order the real thing. Trump made sure the states were supplied. I think what you are referring to is that before the real thing was ready the supply of hydroxychloroquine had run out in Florida and Florida ordered 1M doses for lupus patients. Florida has 13,180 lupus patients that end up in the hospital per year. If just one out of 4 ends up in the hospital. Then that would mean there are 40,000 lupus cases in Florida. They must take 2 doses per day. So, 1M would be a 25-day supply. I didn’t know that lupus was such a problem.
They were ordered for Covid and were not approved for use by the medical authority.
It was discussed last night on the news. But you are in denial and it is hopeless to talk to you .
Not yet vaccinated are we ? Running short on vaccines now that the new mutations are running wild? Long lines of people who are finally waking up to the threat of Covid.
I can recommend huge supply of available hydroxychloroquine available in Florida.
No long waiting lines . Cheap if you get it in bulk for your friends.
Highly recommended by the medical expert DJ Trump himself and he should know. Medicine is child play for Trump. He had that science down after one briefing.
I stopped watching at 1:30 where he says that this century the earth will add at least 3 more billion people. That is not even wrong!!!
He has no clue about the exponential function. At 1% steady growth what we have about now, the world’s population will double from 7.9 billion to 16 billion in 70 years
The exponential function has a doubling time of 70 years for every single percent steady growth.
2% growth , the doubling time is every 35 years
7 % growth the doubling time is every10 years!!!
The man doesn’t know what he is talking about.
Do some reading of Albert Bartlett’ s lectures on Youtube. He knew what he was talking about. Check out page 131 in this thread. CC posted a link. Do watch and become informed about the exponential function.
Smooth operator, but then when one controls the narrative, what one focuses on, what one ignores, one can claim any nonsensical garbage and make it sound oh so impressive and seemingly air tight.
Only 10% of the people live in poverty - my, my what’s there to complain about?
WASHINGTON, Oct. 17, 2018 — Economic advances around the world mean that while fewer people live in extreme poverty, almost half the world’s population — 3.4 billion people — still struggles to meet basic needs, the World Bank said.
Living on less than $3.20 per day reflects poverty lines in lower-middle-income countries, while $5.50 a day reflects standards in upper-middle-income countries, the World Bank said in its biennial Poverty and Shared Prosperity Report, “Piecing Together the Poverty Puzzle.”
The World Bank remains committed to achieving the goal of ending extreme poverty, defined as living on less than $1.90 a day, by 2030. The share of the world’s population living in extreme poverty fell to 10 percent in 2015, but the pace of extreme poverty reduction has slowed, the Bank warned on Sept. 19.
Beyond that, it’s a fool’s errand forecasting population growth this next century, especially since it seems from my admitted limited web trawling, most sources for this sort of population information, don’t seem to be aware that we got this global warming situation happening with some monstrous tipping points heading our way.
Living in the Southwest I’m most keenly aware of the Colorado River watershed and Sierra Nevada Mtns. watershed. Both looking mighty shaky, plus the prospect is that any storm systems that will top off reservoirs will also be packing an infrastructure destroying punch like we’re incapable of imagining.
Oh and our current societal devolution along with today’s embarrass of belligerent willful ignorance over honesty looking the truth in the eyes, ain’t going to help us constructively face what’s coming. And so on and so forth.
It’s not that I enjoy pooping on these delusional fraudsters, but ignoring what’s coming at us, is a sure way to make it as bad as possible, and inject utter hopeless into a population that isn’t emotionally/intellectually/spiritually grown up enough to deal with it.
I looked and saw pure ignorance from people who use the word exponential function, but have no clue how it works.
They talk about reaching 8 billion to 10 billion population as if that is some kind of difficult to reach number. We have 7.9 billion people now. We’ll have 16 billion in t 70 years . Babies born today may witness that number and its impact on life in general.
Well we have 8 billion people today and in maybe 20 years we may have 10 billion people. I 70 years we’ll have 16 billion and in 70 years thereafter we’ll have 32 billion people. 2 lifetimes @ 1% growth will quadruple the current world population. That is the exponential function folks.
And these fools dare speak of increasing wealth for the poor so that they can add to the pollution cycle? Human waste is already polluting the great oceans, let alone the rivers and lakes. We’re fighting a viral pandemic now. Want to see the results of denser population centers?
In the mean time, Climate change is wreaking havoc everywhere on earth to the tune of trillions of dollars in damages.
Use this money now to stop pollution is the ONLY way to stop this run-away train .
Restrict wasteful spending on polluting activities is the only answer. For all our touted intellect, we are probably the most stupid species on earth.
We are trying to control the Natural biome on a planet that has taken billions of years to find a reasonable balance with occasional ice age and warming trends , that reduces the worlds population by natural selection.
Oh no, we shall teach the earth a little lesson in sustainable terraforming, by increasing the population exponentially. We know physics!!!
This reminds me of the once shrill cry of fossil fuel advocates with “drill baby drill”.
Well, oil will run out in about 40 years and if we increase the use of coal that will just aggravate global warming and climate change.
The level of human hubris is astounding. Albert Bartlett was so right"
The Greatest Shortcoming of the Human Race Is Man’s Inability To Understand the Exponential Function
Albert A. Bartlett? William Dillinger? Paul A. Tipler? David Suzuki? Anonymous?
triplex69 you’re offering cartoon narratives.

Says who???
No, that is not what happened. You gave no source. I google it and got an article from Miami newspaper that said what I posted. I went back to check after you said that was incorrect. The paper said that I use my one-time view and I would have to subscribe to view again. Went to other papers and your story is correct. That why I will not use the LA Times here on the west coast. They are as bias as the Miami Herald. I checked several sources, and they confirmed a stockpile of pills, and they were bought for Covid and not lupus. After I read the Herald, I found it hard to believe that a million doses were needed for lupus. I checked with the FL health department and found a lead that gave me the numbers. I still have that. https://www.flhealthcharts.gov/ChartsReports/rdPage.aspx?rdReport=NonVitalInd.Dataviewer&cid=9768 Still hard to believe there are that many lupus cases.
I still give Trump a lot of credit. He was doing what he could. Trump had changed from hydroxychloroquine to monoclonal antibody therapy Bamlanivimab for fighting Covid-19 in Dec. Trump had pushed the FDA to get approval. But his main push was on Operation Warp Speed. Do you remember Ben Carson? He was a neurosurgeon and Secretary of Housing. Ben claims that Trump saved his life by getting monoclonal approved by the FDA. Each state handles the doctors. But the FDA must approve the drugs.
Says 1% steady population growth per year. Don’t argue with this figure . It is simple arithmetic.
Todays population growth on earth is, wait for it… around 1.05% per year
Population in the world is currently (2020) growing at a rate of around 1.05% per year (down from 1.08% in 2019, 1.10% in 2018, and 1.12% in 2017). The current average population increase is estimated at 81 million people per year. Annual growth rate reached its peak in the late 1960s, when it was at around 2%.
World Population Clock: 7.9 Billion People (2021) - Worldometerhttps://www.worldometers.info › world-population
At 1.05 % growth the earth’s population will double in 70 / 1.05 = 66.67 years
Teenagers today may have learn to live in such a world when they are in their seventies, and it won’t be pretty.

Limits of growth. Club of Rome 1972 . Won’t ever get there. Who say 8, 9 , 10 billion is overpopulation?
Yes he was on tv just today, advocating for less testing so that we won’t know how many people are infected with Covid. That guy?
That is only this year. next year that number will be larger and the next year larger still.
That is the effect of the exponential function. By the end of 70 years the human population will have grown by more than all previous years combined!
Who says and why won’t it ever get there. I know why, but please do tell if you know why population growth will never reach say, 15 billion people. Doesn’t the source you cited argue that population growth is desirable ?
Who say 8, 9 , 10 billion is overpopulation?
Not me.
But that’s not where it stops. Only zero population growth will halt the population growth. This is obvious , but somehow no one wants to address this simple fact.
China did it for awhile but dropped it for some reason.
People who calculate how much precious metals there are, and how much oil, water, nitrogen. We could have more people, just more of them would live a short life and starve, with no comforts like the ones you currently enjoy
What’s this thread about again?
Isn’t that what overpopulation means? That there is a limit to how much growth can happen? After that, everyone gets less, some get very little, and suffer.
