Put a woman in charge he says. Well go on then - MTG !!!

And why the heck not, one might ask.
The self-obsessed men can’t think beyond their pickers for the most time.
How about trying out some people who actually know about life and the importance of others and honest communication!

Way back when
In the beginning of time
Man made the fire then the wheel
Went from a horse to an automobile
He said, “the world is mine”
He took the oceans and the sky
He set the borders, built the walls
He won’t stop 'til he owns it all
And here we are
Standing on the brink of disaster
Enough is enough is enough is enough
I know the answer
Put a woman in charge
(Put a woman in charge, put a woman in charge)
Put the women in charge
(Put the women in charge, put the women in charge)
Put a woman in charge
(Put a woman in charge, put a woman in charge)
Put the women in charge
(Put the women in charge, put the women in charge)
The time has come
We’ve got to turn this world around (world around)
Call the mothers
Call the daughters (call the daughters)
We need the sisters of mercy now
She’ll be a hero
Not a fool
She’s got the power
To change the rules
She’s got something (something)
That men don’t have (yes we have)
She is kind and she understands
So let the ladies
Do what they were born to do (ahh-ahh)
Raise the vibration
And make a better place for me and you (ooh-ooh)
Put a woman in charge
Put a woman in charge (put a woman in charge)
Put the women in charge
Put the women in charge (put the women in charge)
Put a woman in charge
Put a woman in charge (put a woman in charge)
Put the women in charge
(Put the women in charge, put the women in charge)
Hallelujah (Hallelujah)
Hallelujah
We’re gonna feel the magic
When the girls take over (take over)
It’s gonna be fantastic
(We need more women in charge)
Put a woman in charge (put a woman in charge)
Put the women in charge (put the woman in charge)
(Put a woman in charge)
(Put the woman in charge, put the women in charge)
Put a woman in charge
Put a woman in charge (put a woman in charge)
Put the women in charge
Put the women in charge (put the woman in charge)
Time to put a woman in charge
Put a woman in charge (put a woman in charge)
Put the women in charge (put the woman in charge) that’s right, come on yeah
Put a woman in charge
Put a woman in charge (put a woman in charge)
Put the women in charge
(Put the women in charge, put the woman in charge)
(It’s about time to put a woman in charge)
Let a woman in charge
Let a woman in charge (let a woman in charge)
Come on y’all, let’s put the woman in charge
(Put a woman in charge, put the women in charge)
Put a women in charge
Put the women in charge (put the woman in charge, put a woman in charge)
Put the woman in charge
Put the woman in charge (put the woman in charge, come on somebody)
Put a women in charge
Put a women in charge (put a woman in charge)
Put the woman in charge
Put the woman in charge
Yeah, yeah, put a woman in charge

Simple straightforward message.

Why not? Lordie knows women couldn’t be any more disastrous than the men have been.

Plus Kamala got the momentum so lets go with it.

$310 million worth of donations within a month, that ain’t no flash in the pan, not like that orange hired idiot frontman, that never realized he was the wannabe puppet for the rich guys to use. He’s time is done, the balloon is full of leaks and going down.

Oh not as shy s Coffee and normally I don’t like repetitive lyrics, but I can have my exceptions. Keb’ Mo’ this Texas boy is cool.

Bonobo chimpanzees are the most peaceful of the great apes, including humans.

Reason: It’s a matriarchal society. The females run the hierarchy.

stateless is banned. He only knows how to disrupt, not contribute. “MTG” in his final comment is Marjorie Taylor Greene. Either he actually likes her as a leader, or he’s pointing out that simply picking someone as a leader because they are female is not a valid way to go about picking leaders.

I’m in a two day argument with my racist cousin about Kamala Harris being called a “DEI hire”. A friend interjected that the category error conservatives make is to confuse the principles of DEI with using DEI as a goal. Stateless did this sort of thing constantly.

The principles, like equity, or with stateless something like world peace, are unarguable unless you are a psychopathic fascist. So, they have to jump to the step of assuming something is wrong, then blame a poor implementation of DEI or government or whatever and claim that people who say they are for the principles aren’t really for the principles. By skipping over the arguments of the facts and evidence, they reveal the very reason we need DEI programs in the first place.

If that’s convoluted, here’s the meme I put up that started the argument with my cousin.

I saw that. His question still deserves a response, if just for discussion sake.

“that simply picking someone as a leader because they are female!” Nice. Just asking questions. What is that high pitch noise I’m hearing?

Kamala Harris would be among the most qualified presidents in recent U.S. history. Why is she unliked?

55 Things You Need to Know About Kamala Harris

This is interesting, a look at the pre-election 2020 Kamala. The good and the ugly. But no matter how you read the list, it dispels the she’s just a girl dog-whistle campaign that MAGA and others like peddling.

On to the dog-whistle.
Lausten are you implying there is no fundamental difference between male attitudes and female attitudes?

As for MTG, sure for every rule, there’s an exception.
What are her qualifications?

That’s what he/she/bot meant? Wow, how stupid.

Coffee and lausten. Dumb and dumber

It’s baaaaaaaaack…

Uh. Welcome to the forum?

Women make very poor leaders overall, especially in liberal democracies. The few good female leaders throughout history have been from monarchies or empires because they can stand for things that aren’t accepted in the modern world like an ultimate descendant or a “motherland”, etc.

At this point however, the idealism of that song is out of date, and DEI nonsense is seen as the only valid answer as to why we “need” to have women in office.

That is not only sexist, but there is no truth to it.

As for DEI, that’s just another way of saying the N-word without saying it. The U.S. has been sexist and racist far too long. We don’t need racist or sexist words to describe the need for a woman and/or a person of colour as president. All we need is the fact that other countries of all economic levels have had women leaders even recently in the late 20th and early 21st century. Germany, the U.K., and now even Mexico. The U.S. needs to get with the modern age, instead of staying in a backward caveman mentality.

Women certainly have not generally been given the opportunity to lead. Religion continues to muzzle women today. Female genital mutilation is still practiced as a rite of passage into womanhood and a requirement for marriage in several muslim and African cultures - even though no religious text calls for such.

Still, anyone who says women make very poor leaders does so out of ignorance. Certainly Margaret Thatcher was England’s doppelgänger for president Reagan - proving that women can be as conservative as men. But on a more positive note, Jacinda Ardern was a very effective leader of her country (NZ) until the anti-immigrant haters and their death threats broke her.

Equal rights is an ideal that is never out of date. And DEI is anything but “nonsense” in a country with a 300+ year history of slavery.
The most significant danger to any society is ignorance/fear of its population to positive change.

Well, for some ignorance is a point of pride, prejudice and power.

Yes, social media provides a safe public place for the ignorant to thrive. They no longer feel ashamed of their ignorance.

Having a female leader says more about the country or organization than it does about women. For example, you won’t see a female president in Russia anytime soon.

True enough, although it doesn’t necessarily say anything good about the country or organization.

I have to disagree with the comment about Russia – far more patriarchal nations than Russia have elected women. Even Pakistan!

Positive change is usually hard to determine . Some changes are positive at first and then not at all, some changes are positive for some people and negative for others. What is for certain is that female leaders are no guarantee of improvement.

I can think of a several men who are promising movement backwards toward much worse times.

Not quite. Oppressively religious nations like Pakistan have elected women.

I looked up Arden. She was good at containing Covid. The overall view of her seems to be she was ok, but could have been better.

And yes, women are easy to break.
