This conflict would end today if the USA said stop.I heard a comment on NPR yesterday. If Biden simply came out and said "stop", which really means Israel, since we see Hamas as a terrorist group and don't have diplomatic relations, then Netanyahu would have the chance to stand up to him and increase his support from his base by showing he didn't have to listen to the US. More likely, Biden has said something behind closed doors to him and is being more nuanced in public.

Sure, lay it all on the US doorstep. Never mind the 2500 year old religious war that has been raging overtly or covertly in the middle east.This war is about territory and ethnicity, not religious ideology. And America is Israel's biggest ally by far.

The citation is not really relevant. It’s just a thought. I expected nothing other than it being taken on its own merit. I didn’t want to claim it as unique to me, that’s all. I could look it, they record just about everything, but I have no reason to do that. This isn’t a science journal or an official statement by CFI. our comments aren’t reviewed by a panel and approved, they don’t carry weight in the scientific or political or any other world.
