A little disinformation I saw this morning. I know it’s trouble when I see a headline, then try to google it for the bigger picture, and only get hits on the disinformation “news” sites. This link shows Harris at the podium, waving goodbye to some hecklers.
What she didn’t hear, as they were being escorted out of the building, after they yelled, “lies, lies, lies”, is they yelled “Jesus is Lord”. That was perfectly timed with her “wrong rally” comment. Fox News has it as a split screen, which means there was a different camera, with a closer mic on the hecklers. This is used as “proof” that Kamala is a Satan worshipping Marxist. Which, you know, could be true, but I’m voting for her anyway.
It would figure that you don’t respect any forms of interaction. You don’t care for the rules here. You don’t understand how public speaking works. The clip starts when Harris is respectfully addressing someone who had been heckling her, someone who did not wait until Q&A time to ask his question.
Tell me how it would work if at every event, all of the people there could yell their demands? And if she didn’t yell over everyelse to answer, then you would judge her on the ones she didn’t get to.
I’m so tired of crappy editing and people ranting about what leaders aren’t doing. There are dozens of organizations working for Palestine. Go do something Sabrina.
To the question of " but what about the genocide ?" She responds with excuse me i am speaking . A slap in the face to the anti war activist to say shut up - you are irrelevant.
She can’t mention any of those stories coming out of Gaza, because to do so would just open up the next question that any normal person would have for her… which would be, “So why do you keep arming Israel, knowing that they are committing these heinous war crimes in Gaza? This makes you 100% complicit in them. Therefore, saying you feel compassion towards Palestinians is just empty BS.”
This was not about war or slapping anybody in the face.
The activist was rude by constantly interrupting Harris’ speech, instead of obeying the rules of “allotted question” time .
Never mind the rules about adhering to proper decorum, if I don’t get to yell my gripe I am gonna mope and accuse you of not caring about ANYTHING!
You frankrizzo, are a sower of confusion and vague unspecified distrust. You are following in Trump’s footsteps, declaring that all people who do not necessarily agree with you are the “enemy” of your world.
You do not critique, you criticize. It is not constructive.
No, the declared terrorist organizations Hamas and Hezbolla are engaged in suicide against a stronger opponent.
This is how I see a viable solution to this situation:
It’s not complicated. Return the hostages and promise not to commit to the extinction of a Jewish State, and HELL for the hostage-takers (and their hostages or supporters) ends.
Because if Israel (a declared US ally) would then still engage in first strike bombings, they would not longer be given the support of the US.
In this specific instance, this international incident was clearly the result of a terrorist attack against a peaceful international (including US citizens) gathering, with the capture and killing of hostages to hold them as human shields and as a negotiable commodity.
IMO, asking Israel to give in to its neighbors is in principle the same as asking Ukraine to give in because their defensive actions cost the lives of civilian Russians while they return fire and we cannot have genocide of Russians now, can we?
Israel is of necessity more brutal than its attackers. It’s how they avoid genocide and they have tasted that bitter taste and the reason for one of Israel’s national slogans:
(((NEVER AGAIN)))
Just an add : that Israel promise not to try to eradicate the Palestinians people from Palestine, evacuates the illegal colonies from the point of view of international law, and let the Palestinians create a viable state.
Israel is entitled to peace, in the limits fixed by UN resolutions, but must give it.
Absolutely.
Israel will have to make some concessions also. I am sure they will agree to any reasonable demands if that will insure the peace.
Note that much of the Israeli occupation of strategic positions were acquired during Israeli defensive action against terrorist attacks from these positions during the 1967 “6 day” war.
After that war, Israel left Gaza and Hamas terrorists started bombing Israel from Gaza. Israel’s occupation of Gaza is in defense of Israel.
Israel occupies the Golan Heights, because Syrian terrorists were bombing Israel from those strategic positions. Israels occupation of Golan Heights was in defense of Israel during the 6day war in 1967. which Israel did not start.
Israel seized the Golan Heights from Syria during the 1967 Six-Day War and later annexed it, a move not recognised by the UN [EPA]
There are about 25,000 Israeli citizens living in parts of the Golan Heights.
It is true that there have been illegal individual or group settlements in by Israelis. But those are local law enforcement issues and are not an excuse to conduct terrorist attacks on Israel proper.
Until recently, residents of Druze villages in the Israeli-occupied Golan Heights had maintained close economic, familial and emotional ties to Syria.
But the civil war raging in Syria has broken or altered these relationships.
Why?
Israel is waging a full scale mass murder of the militant Hamas and Hezbolla terrorists, as these Islamist organizations are waging a full scale mass murder of Israelis.
To wit: September 20, 2024
While the October 7 Hamas attack on Israel was the bloodiest day in the Jewish state’s history, Israel has long seen Hezbollah, with its massive arsenal of rockets and highly trained fighters, as its most formidable border foe.
Since October 8, Israel and Hezbollah have been engaged in near-daily exchanges of Hezbollah rocket fire and Israeli reprisals, with Hezbollah launching increasingly larger rocket, drone, and arson attacks on northern Israel that threaten a wider war.
What is the latest on Hezbollah and the Israel-Hamas War?
On October 8, the day after the deadliest terror attack in Israel’s history, Hezbollah launched several guided rockets at Israel out of “solidarity” with the terror group Hamas. Since then, Hezbollah has fired some 8,000 rockets, anti-tank missiles, and suicide drones at Israel.
Twenty-seven Israelis have been killed by the rockets, and over 60,000 Israelis have fled the Lebanese border region due to these attacks.
And what are the Islamist terorists lunatics who wantonly kill innocent people around the world like they did on 9/11 in the US.
What lunatic feels that he/she has a right to commandeer 3 commercial airplanes and fly them into the heart of a city into 2 highrise business centers and killing 2996 innocent people?
That they were suicidal Islamist supremacists does not excuse or justify any of that.
So what do you suggest should happen to those people. Give them medals for bravery?
Stop the terrorist activities and peace will return. It is not a difficult problem!
