Why can’t everyone live in harmony? The U.S. isn’t exactly living in harmony with everyone in it’s own country. So we really need to ask that question of the whole world. People insanity over religious literature or not, we have disharmony everywhere in the world- some places worse than others and the worst part is, other countries enable disharmony in other countries, as well as their own. I’m not so sure the U.S. and other countries aren’t totally blameless in this mess between Israel and Palestine.

Israel can’t survive without the support of many countries. It’s not just the U.S. supporting them. After WWII there many countries (mostly U.N. member countries) who were part of at the [re]formation of Israel, and while the U.S. provide most of the funds, the U.S. isn’t alone in supporting Israel. However, it seems to me that this argument over land has been going on for centuries and didn’t begin after WWII. It just became severely intensified after countries established Israel’s existence. Now I realize Wickedpedia isn’t a reliable source, but if we take what it says and the stories of the Torah (not taking sides, just making notes on the matter) the Jews have been wandering without a country for centuries because the Palestinians occupied their land. That’s the Jewish story at least. Now the Palestinians say the Jews stole their land, which could also be blamed on countries around the world, especially those who forcefully created Israel after WWII, which could eventually start WWIII. I wish this were as simple as the Europeans stealing Native American lands, but it’s not and I truly do not know which side to take or if any side should be taken due to the mess that many countries created. While this dispute has been going on for centuries, the U.N. countries caused it to intensify and none of them, especially the U.S., have done anything to stop it. Is due to religious texts and the insistence of it being “the Holy Land”? One groups of Xians says J.C. won’t return until there is peace in the Middle East and another group believes J.C. will return when there is an all out war. My point is, I don’t think we can point fingers at just one group concerning this war between Israel and Palestine. I do not believe for a minute that the Jews alone are to blame for this. I think a lot of countries are to blame for this war, which could explode into WWIII. IMHO, it’s many countries’ fault, but what could they do about all the WWII POW refugees? Many European Jews were prisoners of war and many were persecuted in the Middle East and other places. The solution counties came up with at the time- form a new country using part of Palestine and other areas, without asking the Natives of the land. Same old story, but it’s not all the Jews’ fault. We can’t blame just them. The situation is really complicated and I can’t point fingers at one group of people. I won’t do it when there are a lot of people involved in this mess.
