I just read that Trump can’t find people to fill all the staff positions. He had no idea how many he needed or how unwilling people are to work for him. I think we’re looking at a Paul Ryan presidency.
Here's what I'm seeing. To get the extra few million you need to win, you could go after the youth, and after people who are smart and listen to reason. Either party can get 60 million people who just listen to sound bites or vote the same way without thinking about it.That's the impression I'm getting, after the fact. From what people are saying, Trump won by sending a lot of tweets, a lot of nonsense, making a lot of noise in other words. Now that he's President-elect, he's acting a lot calmer, saying he didn't mean most of it. Basically he manipulated the vote by acting like a jackass, which young people could relate to more than Hillary. And now we're supposed to just forget all the horrible things he said and "come together" as a nation.
I have always been optimistic concerning politics but after last nights results I'm very concerned. I'm an old guy and this was the first Presidential election in which I actually feared for my country because of a candidate. Unfortunately what I feared the most happened even though I was in no way crazy about the other candidate.
