WASHINGTON — The United States launched airstrikes in Syria on Thursday, targeting facilities used by Iranian-backed militia groups. The Pentagon said the strikes were in retaliation for a rocket attack in Iraq earlier this month that killed one civilian contractor and wounded a U.S. service member and other coalition troops.
The airstrike was the first known military action undertaken by the Biden administration, which in its first weeks has emphasized its intent to put more focus on the challenges posed by China, even as Mideast threats persist.
“This proportionate military response was conducted together with diplomatic measures , including consultation with coalition partners,” the Pentagon’s chief spokesman, John Kirby, said in announcing the strikes.

With the exception of self-defense, war, terrorism, violence is never justified. I do not know the details on the airstrikes and will have to look into it, but we’ve been having a lot of issues with the Middle East for many years though. That said, I didn’t agree with it when President Obama did it. I also didn’t agree with killing anyone, but that said, I wish they would have somehow shown us the body of Osama Bin Laden, instead of saying “He’s dead. Our military killed him.” I question his death because I never saw a body. If that’s partisans then loyalty to a party doesn’t take much.

I’m sorry. I don’t get your meme, because BLM, Women’s rights, and gay rights have nothing to do with President Biden’s military strike. Despite all three issues being human rights they are separate issues from a military strike.
President Biden and the dotard are NOT the same. That is total BS, because the dotard destroyed everything, nearly making the U.S. a shit hole, as he called other countries he didn’t like and he didn’t help U.S. citizens. President Biden is trying clean up the dotard’s mess, as well as help the U.S. citizen by giving COVID relief and vaccines in an effort to curb COVID, which the dotard wanted everyone to get and hopefully die, especially if they were poor and/or of colour. We wouldn’t be in this mess if not for the dotard. Not only that, President Biden is attempting to make the economy better and curb Climate Change, another thing the dotard made worse. President Biden wants to move towards modernization, which means going to wind and solar power and away from coal and oil, something the dotard refused to do, because he loved his rich white men, especially if they scratched his back. President Biden isn’t in bed with Putin either, unlike the dotard. President Biden wears a mask and encourages mask wearing, even mandated it in government buildings, unlike the stupid dotard.
