8 Public media relay government communications without contradictory investigation
9 Reduction in trade union and association rights
10 Works, publications or university courses are withdrawn by administrative decision
ASSUMED AUTHORITARIANISM
11 The power officially designates groups as internal threats via speeches or emergency laws
12 School curricula are modified by decree to promote a single reading of the national past
13 Repression of minorities and journalists
14 Unpunished police violence
15 Ethnic or religious affiliation becomes an official criterion for access to public employment or aid
16 The head of the executive concentrates legislative, judicial or media powers without checks and balances
ACTIVE FASCISM
17 Militias, political violence, cult of the leader
18 Ban on critical organizations
19 Judges and editors-in-chief are appointed directly by the executive without independent procedure
20 Arrests of opponents
21 The power imposes by law moral or religious norms in the private life of citizens

A point is lacking : persecution of opponents by police and judicial means.
For me, USA are on a sliding slope
Globally the 5 first points are respected, but
- point 11 is active,
- point 12 is being activated in many places
- point 13 is beginning
- point 14, not new
- point 15 is claimed, anti-maga civil servants are dismissed
- point 16 is claimed, not yet fully successfully
- point 17 is set up
- point 19 ?
- point 21 is aimed to
conclusion : not yet, but many reasons to worry.
