What are you doing here???
Not exactly. There are ways to use words that make them insults or not insults. The same word. Google it.
so name calling is not just name calling?
And all this

Also, I do a lot more discussing directly with the people raising the issue than any rule or expectation of CFI. Thatās my choice. I can end this anytime, discuss it with my fellow mods, and declare a decision.
Is just performative
Thereās a book about it
You intended to assert dominance and claim superiority. Thatās an insult. You could have used the word Nazi without that intention. Then it would have not been an insult.
So name calling is ok when used in context??
Can you behave for two days, or do I put you on hold? I donāt have time for this. Itās how words work. Itās the context that makes it name calling or not, not the word.
Moderator doesnt have time to do their job.
My understanding from your valuable input here is that its well within the rules to name call a nazi a fascist within context such as a debate on WW2 .
If you say that Hitler was a nazi, nobody will object, If you say that Putin is a fascist, it is open to debate, if you say that a member of this forum is a fascist or a nazi, you insult him and it is not allowed.
I think that it is simple enough.
Youre missing the part about the context of the conversation with a nazi eg - about WW2
Where is there a rule about a time limit on how quickly I should respond to you?
Either you are not being honest, and you do understand how words and language work but youāre pretending not to, or you donāt understand words so you are insulting people but not realizing it. Either one is a rules violation.
