ATROCITIES 1-1,046Is that a passage from a bible?
You can bet the farm that there are several people out there racing to get books on the 2020 election put together and published just before the 2022 elections. Those who support Trump will provide the facts of the irregularities and show that if the irregularities had not happened Trump would have won. In some States the irregularities included violations of the State’s constitution. The authors who support the Dems will try to show that the States took unusual actions in a time of emergency and those actions were deemed necessary by the authorities in each State and thus while not technically legal they were not specifically illegal.
The thing to watch for is whether or not the several States where Trump would have won without the irregularities make changes to their election laws. We’re hearing that Trump supporters are calling for changes and plan to heavily lobby several State legislatures. If changes are made, the Trump supporters will argue that they constitute an admission of a stolen election. The Dems will try to have any changes done in a way that will downplay any such claims and lay it off to the pandemic.
The impeachment will fail in the Senate; the only thing it will have accomplished is to harden Trump’s support. If Trump runs in 2024 he will win because the flaws in the election laws that allowed the Dems to take advantage of the irregularities will have been fixed. The Trump supporters will crow that they were right about the 2020 election all along.
The FBI investigation of the protest at the Capitol will show that there was coordination among some of the protesters. It will also show that Trump had no part in such planning. If the Senate does the investigation that should have been done by the House the evidence will show Trump did not call for an intrusion into the building only a march to the building. The pipe bombs were found before Trump called for the march. Those who went into the building were prepared to do that well before Trump called for the march.
The Dems have seized the opportunity again to blame everything on Trump. Obviously wrong before, obviously wrong this time. Sensational headlines fabricated for a fake media which has made its hatred of Trump clear. There was no siege. There was no insurrection. There was no occupation. There was no burning. There was only very minor looting. There was a protest that got out of hand.
If the Dems don’t calm things down, history will report an ego named Hillary as having launched the quest for political revenge that caused the Second US Civil War. I suspect she might be very pleased to be compared to Helen. Since her husband was impeached, the man who prevented her from taking her rightful place in history as the first woman President had to be impeached too; not just once but twice makes their revenge twice as nice. The death and destruction on both sides, now as with Troy, is just collateral damage. Apparently, nations don’t matter when egos are at stake.
Wow - still calling up Hillary. Surprised you’re not shouting “BENGHAZI” too. Lets take it one step further back - It was the GOPers that impeached Clinton. Just because they were jealous he got a BJ in the oval office. So it’s the GOPers Fault!! (Wasn’t trump a supporter of the Clinton’s at that time?)
Mob bosses don’t say “Kill that traitor” They say “Teach him a lesson”
And as for what did and didn’t happen in the capitol, you for got to mention PEOPLE DIED.
Every challenge put up by the trump legal posse was thrown out - Even by his own judicial plants.
Coordinated Voter fraud and suppression is a tactic of the right. GOPers were CONVICTED of tampering and fraud in a ballot harvesting case in … NC (?) maybe - a few years back. The tampering resulted in a GOPer win at a (state or local) level, and the results were thrown out, and they re-voted. GOPers had illegal “Collection Boxes” in California. GOPers want to shut down polling places and limit early voting hours - the same game they play with abortion rights - If you can’t make it illegal, make it damn hard - You can still do it, but you have to travel 150 miles and be there between 5:30am and 5:45am … on a Tuesday.
You’re not going to find enough “irregularities” to overcome 8 million votes.
I set aside time on January 6th, expecting to watch some boring politics and maybe some people outside the building acting stupidly.
While I was watching the events unfold, before the barricades were breached, a Trumper friend facebooked, “look at how peaceful they are being.” That post did not age well. This protest was not unusual in how it progressed. What was unusual is that it was at Congress, while it was in session, and the President had invited the people to the rally and spoke at it. It was news. It was world news. So reporters were there, live, on the scene, trying to keep up with it.
The protests last summer were usually at night, usually not well organized, definitely not organized by a government official. They did not break in to government buildings looking for people. They defaced some of them. They burned a police station. A Boogaloo boy has since been charged for that fire.
It always takes time to uncover the facts of who and what happened during a riot. Questions of who remained peaceful and who instigated violence can’t be determined from a wide angle shot of the crowd. For this one, we have pictures they took of themselves, clear, in bright light. We have interviews where they gave their names. Piecing this together will be much easier than the events last summer. I’m hearing the same phrases from defenders of both protests, that there were infiltrators, there were people from the other side in disguise, that an official organization didn’t direct the violence. These are facts that can and will be investigated. You should check them before forming your opinion.
I wonder if @ibelieveinlogic is mentally capable of recognize the lies he’s swallowed hook, line, and sinker.
Also, the Protests last summer started during the day and were for the most part peaceful. And it only got ugly after dark. Many of the Peaceful protesters departed by then.
The only reason Bob is still an active user is that he keeps his posts limited. He rarely engages in conversation. His posts are repetitive. On the plus side, he keeps his language civil, at least not directing insults at individuals. If he were a troll under a bridge in Medieval Europe, he wouldn’t be jumping out and eating anyone, he would just say “boo” as you were crossing, and “hey, get off my bridge”, then he would go back to eating mice or whatever else a troll does under a bridge.
The only reason Bob is still an active user is that he keeps his posts limited. ...Difficult to tell whether this is a threat (to silence contrary opinion?) or an insult (a permitted personal attack?) or an attempt at humor (given that my posts here are necessary to keep the liberal hysteria damped down to just shy of supersonic levels).
It is gratifying to know that you recognize that I do not attack individuals, only their misconceptions. The search for the truth is part of what this site is about, no?
These are facts that can and will be investigated. You should check them before forming your opinion.I second the call for an investigation. It is almost unbelievable that the House would have jumped into impeachment without one. Hopefully the Senate will wait for it. What do we do if the investigation exonerates Trump? If it does, I wonder if he could be un-impeached and if those who impeached him could face impeachment themselves. They must dread the investigation; nothing for them to to gain, lots to lose. They will probably try to deny the Senate the opportunity to see the results of the investigation and that will reinforce Trump's supporters' beliefs that it was all political.
I would hope many would also see the need for an investigation into irregularities in the 2020 election. When an investigation is denied and claims stonewalled it is natural for people to suspect that there is something hidden. Example: what really happened at Roswell? I ask all here, do you really trust the government - on any issue - or do you want to see the evidence for yourself? I assume your answer is you want to see it for yourself; most Americans, including Republicans, do too.
You can’t stop the process just because some nut job like Giuliani screams FRAUD. There needs to be some level of evidence before states will spend the resources on investigations.
trumps rally-lies are not evidence. Some lady saying she talked to someone who said they saw something they didn’t like is not evidence. Losing is not evidence.
They appeased the losers with recounts.
They appeased the losers by moving the “Observers” closer to the counters.
They appeased the losers by letting their lawyers stand before a judge to make a fool of themselves.
What more do you want? … other than the reign of terror to continue illegally?
You can’t stop the process just because some nut job like Giuliani screams FRAUD. There needs to be some level of evidence before states will spend the resources on investigations. The mob doesn't care if the Trump legal gang can produce evidence of fraud. They expect the Democrats to produce evidence there was no voter fraud. This is how upside down this entire affair has become.
A Reporter asked one of the protesters what he would do if he found out that the whole thing was a lie all along. His response was that if that was the case he would never vote again. Note that at no time he would consider switching parties. The mental rot has affected the entire concept of an constitutional government and the rule of law.
Rumors coming in France. some say, among others:
- that, on the 5tth of January, some republican congressmen gave tours to some leaders of the attack and that, on the day after, the leading elements of it knew where and how to go, tha tthe aim was to take Democrat congressmen
- that, in fact som Republican congressmen co organized the attack
- that some alarms were put out of order in some strategic places
- that not only some policemen were accomplice of it, but that some Pentagone members helped, for instance blocking national guard moves
A ‘Stop the Steal’ organizer said three GOP lawmakers helped plan his D.C. rally
Weeks before a mob of President Trump’s supporters stormed the U.S. Capitol, right-wing activist Ali Alexander told his followers he was planning something big for Jan. 6.
Alexander, who organized the “Stop the Steal” movement, said he hatched the plan — coinciding with Congress’s vote to certify the electoral college votes — alongside three GOP lawmakers:Reps. Andy Biggs (Ariz.),
Mo Brooks (Ala.) and
Paul A. Gosar (Ariz.),
all hard-line Trump supporters.
“We four schemed up of putting maximum pressure on Congress while they were voting,” Alexander said in a since-deleted video on Periscope highlighted by the Project on Government Oversight, an investigative nonprofit. The plan, he said, was to “change the hearts and the minds of Republicans who were in that body, hearing our loud roar from outside.”

Yes it has been reported of tours given by some congressmen the day before
At least one case the mob went into an umarked door, rather than a door with the persons name on it (I forget the details)
Co-ordinated depends on definition. Supposedly 3 were in conversation with the mob coordinator. One replies “Who”, no comment from another, and the third had some wishy-washy typically political non-answer
There were pictures of Capitol Police taking selfies with rioters. The other things (doors opened, alarms off) I hadn’t heard of …yet
Details will come out eventually
34 House Democrats call for investigation into Jan. 5 tours by fellow members ahead of attack Capitol is supposed to be closed to toursBy Katherine Tully-McManus, Posted January 13, 2021
The letter notes that she and other signatories, including former CIA officer Abigail Spanberger, have served in military and intelligence roles and are trained to recognize suspicious activity.
“Members of the group that attacked the Capitol seemed to have an unusually detailed knowledge of the layout of the Capitol Complex. The presence of these groups within the Capitol Complex was indeed suspicious. Given the events of January 6, the ties between these groups inside the Capitol Complex and the attacks on the Capitol need to be investigated,” wrote the lawmakers.
Visitors, official tour groups and almost anyone without a congressional ID have been barred from the Capitol since mid-March, when the threat of the COVID-19 pandemic led congressional leaders to partially close the usually public building.
But members of Congress have been disregarding those strictures …
Then there’s the oh so personally painful case of the High School drop out with a lengthy, if minor, rap sheet with the police, owner of the “Shooter Cafe” in Rifle, Colorado, where all employees open carry gun. Why? Because everyone should I reckon. The painful part is she got elected our US Rep in Washington. During the siege she made herself and trumpian hero by tweeting the position of Palosi, who the rioters want to Lynch.
Rep. Boebert under scrutiny for tweets relaying ‘intel’ during Capitol attack Rifle Republican says tweets about locations of members of Congress ‘mischaracterized’ By Chase Woodruff- January 11, 2021 https://coloradonewsline.com/2021/01/11/rep-boebert-under-scrutiny-for-tweets-relaying-intel-during-capitol-attack/…
The tweets, which received fresh scrutiny after being widely recirculated by Boebert’s critics on Sunday, were sent in the minutes after a violent mob of President Donald Trump’s supporters breached the Capitol building on the afternoon of Jan. 6. As rioters, who killed one U.S. Capitol Police officer and injured many others, began rampaging through the building and vocally targeting elected officials, Boebert’s Twitter account relayed information concerning the whereabouts of members of Congress, including House Speaker Nancy Pelosi.
“We were locked in the House Chambers,” Boebert tweeted at 2:17 p.m. One minute later, she added: “The Speaker has been removed from the chambers.” …
“Why was (Boebert) live tweeting the location of House Speaker Nancy Pelosi in the midst of the deadly coup attempt on the Capitol?” asked CNN commentator Keith Boykin. Rural Colorado United, a political action committee that opposed Boebert’s 2020 congressional candidacy, has accused her of “divulging” Pelosi’s location, characterizing her tweets before and during the Jan. 6 attack as a “timeline of treason.”
She’s justifying her tweets with the rejoinder that; ‘we the news media was reporting on them’ - the news media was doing their job, Boebert was tweeting directly to insurgents that were storming the building in the heat of the battle so to speak. Beside she has made it clear she has utter and complete contempt and disregard for anyone who isn’t a trump devotee.

This was not the only noose on display as pro-Trump extremists stormed the Capitol. Photographer Victor J. Blue captured another that showed a Trump supporter carrying a make-shift mannequin with a noose arounds its neck and the word “traitor” written across its chest. At least one other noose was displayed during the riot involving a camera cord.

2 Capitol Police officers suspended and at least 10 more under investigation for alleged roles in riotBy Peter Nickeas, Annie Grayer and Ryan Nobles, CNN - Updated 10:20 PM ET, Mon January 11, 2021

CNN)Two US Capitol Police officers were suspended and at least 10 more are under investigation for their behavior during last week’s assault on the Capitol, and federal agents will look at whether current and former law enforcement officers played a role in the riot.
One of the Capitol police officers took a selfie with someone who was part of the mob that overtook the Capitol and the other wore a “Make America Great Again” hat and started directing people around the building, according to Rep. Tim Ryan, an Ohio Democrat. He didn’t disclose how many other officers were under investigation but confirmed it was between 10 and 15, and didn’t say what they were being scrutinized for except that it was their behavior during the riot. …… A House aide separately said there are as many as 17 officers under investigation as part of eight investigations into the insurrection at the Capitol.
In a statement Monday night, Capitol Police acting Chief Yogananda Pittman said several officers were suspended. …
Pressley's chief of staff said her office's panic buttons 'had been torn out' before Capitol riot BY ARIS FOLLEY - 01/13/21 02:17 PM ESTthehill _ com/homenews/house/534064-pressleys-chief-of-staff-said-her-offices-panic-buttons-had-been-torn-out
“Every panic button in my office had been torn out — the whole unit,” Groh said, despite noting she had previously used the buttons in that same office. Groh said in the interview that she did not know why the buttons had been removed.
In a statement to The Hill later on Wednesday, a spokesperson for Pressley said “the matter has been raised with the relevant agencies and is currently under investigation.” The representative said the “duress buttons” had previously been “installed throughout the Congresswoman’s office suite.”
“Our staff has used these devices before and they are regularly tested and maintained,” they said. …
Can you image what these trumpsters have in mind for America, MAGA adds up to nothing but flaming wreckage, more mistakes, more horrors and more agony to live with. In short, it’s as bad as it sounds and probably even worse.
Well, you asked. ?
