Well, duh, where else would the residents of minority neighborhoods want police protection? --Bob
Go to just about any college campus. Find the white men's organizations. There is criminal activity going on in there every day. Sometimes it's out on the streets, but the cops just stand off to the side and "keep the peace". They don't arrest them because they know those boys have rich parents and lawyer friends.
but the fault can only be laid on the parents
Not the system that is trying to expand it's economy using cheap labor that can be easily exploited because they can't seek protections? Really?
I have never heard of a right-wing organization that killed a dozen people engaged in prayer in a church or synagogue.
The acts we all deplore have been committed by individuals, not groups. There have been no conspiracies other than by the jihadists.
This is why it behooves you to educate yourself. One good source is Southern Law Poverty Center. It not only tells you about the various hate groups (yes, all right wing) and what many are doing. Often, there is a group behind the one or two people who enact the hate crime. They don’t always act together, like the Klan often does, but they manage to convince the one or two to do said hate crime.
Yesterday evening during coverage of the Dem caucus in Nevada.
Who was the group and what did they? Where was the violence that harmed people? I didn’t see any AK-47 or MR-13 or any other alphabet weapons of war.
Now if you mean Russia meddling in our election, they’ve been doing that at least since they put their orange puppet in the Big House. However, they aren’t a left wing group. I don’t think they are right wing either. It’s just foreign meddling and that is something that’s not suppose to happen.
@Bob, the settler with a cow is safer because you can hopefully negotiate trade- cow’s milk for buffalo meat.
I’m not going to be as nice as Lausten. I feel you should receive a warning #2 for post #323044, above and beyond the post being an ad hominem attack. That was worse than insulting. It was down right racist, trolling, and provoking. All are violations of the rules in one post. Please cease and desist with such comments, because I really hate banning people.

I don't see my post as an attack on anyone here. It certainly wasn't intended to be. As I have stated before I may attack a person's ideas, but I would never attack the person. As far as I know no one here has been identified as a nut case or a liberal lawyer or a native American, cavalry trouper or [white] settler. Maybe you and Lausten know more about those here than I do. If either of you feel I have attacked you I can only assume you misunderstood my post.
The point of my first question was that the nut case might kill one or several people before he would be stopped where the lawyer with an agenda could eventually bring on the overthrow of the Constitution.
The point of my second question was again that the trouper might kill one or several people before he would be stopped where the settler family represented the white man’s invasion of native peoples’ lands, which hasn’t turned out well for the native peoples.
I accept that everyone’s answer to each question would depend upon what one sees as the biggest threat. For me, the overthrow of the constitution would be as bad as the white man’s invasion was/is to native Americans. The history I have read tells me the opportunity for white and native trade didn’t work out. In either question the killing of one or several people, as bad as that would be, is to me not nearly as bad as the destruction of a society.
To me the rise of communism and communism-lite (aka socialism) in the USA and the Islamic invasion of both Europe and the USA are as insidious as any cancer would be to the body. I think there are no greater threats to our society than these.

I’m ignoring the rest of the post because you can take it to the other thread.
This is statement people can debate and it’s not offensive. However, it does show that you don’t know the difference between Socialism and Communism. I once had a history prof tell me that any form of government can be corrupt (ours is for sure) or it can be a source of good. Socialism is not Communism. Socialism, just like Capitalism or a Republic or Democracy can be corrupt or it can serve the people.
Might I remind you that social security, medicare/medicaid, food stamps, AFDC, low income housing, the police and fire departments are socialistic programs. Your taxes go to pay for these things and socialized medicine would be no different. The only difference would be instead of the elderly and the poor getting socialized medicine, everyone would get it. Democratic Socialism supports such programs AND it is a democracy- a government by the people and for the people. You can read more about DSA: Democratic Socialist of America, you like. Reading what they have to say won’t kill you or recruit you (unless you want to be), but it could inform you.
The paragraph below that asks about Socialism being discredited by way of the fall of Communism, which it wasn’t.
Democratic socialists always opposed the ruling party-states of those societies, just as we oppose the ruling classes of capitalist societies.
The thing is, if we don’t do something about the corruption in U.S. government now, there won’t be a democracy. It will be a true Oligarchy, in which the ruling elite and rich will declare socialism is for them (they already do) and capitalism is for the rest of us. Hellmart double dips into the various programs by getting services for their business via the government and then pay their employees slave wages, in which the employees have to get food stamps, in which the employees turn around and give their food stamps (via getting their food at Hellmart) to Hellmart. If you understand the government kickbacks a grocer gets from accepting food stamps, then you get the double dipping into the Oligarchy’s social system. So the Corporate greed gets the benefits of socialism, but not the consumer, despite receiving food stamps. The consumer/employee gets the shaft, BUT if there is socialism for all and not just for greedy Corporations, then everyone gets their share of the pie and the top 1% doesn’t get the majority of the pie.

Because @ibelieveinlogic is Bob, thus the @Bob. They are both Bob. Click on his name below his icon and it takes you to Bob’s profile. I don’t know why, but everyone has changed to @ and whatever their handle is, instead of just their Profile name and if they are not the same, then changed. Not sure if that clears it up or not, but typing and reading it back to myself sounds like it’s still a little confusing. Not sure how to clear it up more though.
CFI Webmaster here. The user with username Bob reached out to me. He kept getting email notifications even though he wasn’t participating in this discussion. It was getting a bit confusing with display names and usernames, so yesterday I changed the view to usernames. For example, there could be a lot of people with a display name of Bob but usernames are unique.
Please stop tagging Bob in the rest of this conversation, or write @ Bob if you want to refer to past tagging.
I was thinking mostly of the Fraternities. I decided not to clarify. If you aren't aware of the illegal activity going on there, and how universities allow it, I'm not sure how I could convince you of that. Seems like you would have bumped in to someone with that common knowledge in your life.
@mkreidler Thanks for the update. I had wondered why things had changed and if I was confusing Bobs after I looked at the @ tagging or what was happening. It answers my questions as to even my confusion.
@Mriana: Because @ibelieveinlogic is Bob, thus the @Bob.
Thanks for the info. I too switched to using @ on account of you because your responses are the only ones that pop up in my email notifications when you used @Sree.
@thatoneguy: And what are the White men’s organizations?
The ones that matter, and have real clout, have no formal organization nor are they illegal. It's a white man's world. To those who don't like it, I have this to say: "Deal with it."

Drug use?
Hazing?
I imagine there is some drug use in fraternities, although I don’t see how that’s a threat to minorities.
