As a girl, my grandparents lived through the Spanish flu, which is an H1N1 flu virus, of 1919. They were just kids- my grandmother would have been 6 and my grandfather 5. They grew up and raised two girls through the polio scared. They did it with handwashing. I came along… We got home from church and the first thing they had me do was… wash my hands, before I did anything else. Now handwashing isn’t the end all and be all- there’s getting plenty of rest, lots of water, and good nutrition to keep your immune system up, but still, must wash hands frequently, especially when one is out in public and once they return home and always before imbibing food and drink. I don’t think anyone can stress that enough…
However, the COVID-19 sort of digresses from the topic, but you are right- Asians, especially the Chinese know we have a serious problem and the dotard is too stupid to know it or admit it. However, as much as I loathe the dotard, I do have one issue with your statement of “Our whitey white [dic]tator doesn’t” I added the for emphasis on… well you know. That’s not my problem though. My problem is, you blame it on him being “whitey white” (he’s an orange creature), but his skin colour isn’t the issue as to why he’s too stupid and ignorant to know we have a serious crisis coming our way. It’s because he refuses to be educated and believes he knows everything without even talking to the experts or cracking open a book or newspaper. On the other hand, Asians are experiencing the crisis first hand and sadly, their government really isn’t much better, BUT they know how bad bad is and no matter how bad we might think it is… Anyway, the fact is, skin colour has nothing to do with the COVID-19 virus or how well we handle the crisis. Even so, the Asians are good at making computers, parts for computers, math, and yes architect, but I don’t think it has anything to do with their skin colour, anymore than the dotard’s stupidity has to do with his skin colour.

So they said those were anomalies that only happened because whitey built civilization in the first place. So, again easy, show all foundational things in history, the major events and breakthroughs. So, they claim the individual accomplishments were part of a team, and the early civilizations used oppression and war just like whitey. So, where's the superiority? I seem to have lost track of the line of logic that was never there.
There is no superiority. It only makes those who claim to be superior feel, albeit falsely, superior and they attempt to impose this false belief on others through violence. No one is any better than another based on skin colour. Behaviour is another matter. White Supremacist are some of the worst people and not at all superior even in behaviour.
No they didn’t or at least they didn’t do it alone. We had Johnson, mentioned above, and without her making it to the moon wouldn’t have happened. Nichelle Nichols was a great role model that even MLK Jr, who also contributed, praised. George Takei is a role model for the LGBT. Maya Angelou contributed to the modern world with her writing and teaching. Neil deGrasse Tyson has contributed as an astronomer and teacher. Let’s not forget President Obama and his wife. I’m sure there are others, but that is a start.
The "modern world" is the society that developed from the Age of Enlightenment -- which was uniquely European. By this I mean there has never been anything similar to the Age of Enlightenment in any other civilization whatsoever. Space travel and gay rights are things that became possible much later because of the age of enlightenment.

This straw man is getting tiresome. I didn't claim White men did everything, I accurately stated White men founded the modern world. Liberal Democracy, Rationalism, and Secularism are purely European developments. You cannot find anything even remotely similar in the rest of the world.

Both a lack of evidence and no clear definition of “superior” make it difficult to choose just which race is superior. I had thought that the grays were, but the more I learn about the greens the more I question that. Of course since both came here and we aren’t able to go there - yet - it seems we aren’t the superior ones. On the other hand, they do seem to want something from human bodies.

Your constant repetition of your claim is tiresome. I don't think you know how the modern world came to be, otherwise you wouldn't keep saying white men did it. You have some grade school picture of barbarians floundering around in the mud until sometime around 1492, then whitey came along and "founded" them. You said nothing to show me otherwise.

You just made it worse in the other thread. You had trouble distinguishing a white supremacist group from a culture wanting to express itself. You proposed unworkable "fixes". This thread addressed the problem more directly and those in favor of the title have given poor evidence.

And if that is not convincing, pray tell how it is that ONLY South Korea has a reasonable plan for addressing the COVID-19 outbreak? They are massively TESTING people for the presence of the virus. @marsionia The idea of white privilege is a human concept with no basis in fact, except for what white people place on it. It also works to do damage, albeit psychologically in black minds. My ex-husband would send me whenever he felt it was to our advantage for me to go because I present as white in the minds of most humans. There is no basis for this, but white people created in order to have power over black people and other people of color. It is one of the worse concepts every created by humans. I could go on with my own family’s experience with racism, but the point is, “white privilege” is a really stupid and unfounded concept meant to control others.
