I don’t see an edit button
Every post has a time stamp. I like that we aren’t barraged with too many people.

“In his house at R’lyeh dead Cthulhu waits dreaming”
“That is not dead which can eternal lie, And with strange aeons even death may die.” Howard Phillips Lovecraft , The Nameless City
Is there somewhere I can see this evidence? Or the results of the tests?
I’ll arrange for this on an alternate site dedicated to rationally and scientifically solving the nature of reality. I find that CFI is too clunky and unfocussed on important matters.
This is a forum, not representative of CFI. No one here works for them.
Leave me a link if you have this worked out somewhere else.
Wow!
I am not going to another site. If s/he has something to say they can do it here.
But the hubris of the opening statement intrigues me.
And what, pray tell, is the religion resulting from what knowledge and even more intriguing, how do you serve it?
That’s fine. If you like it here you like it here. I believe in linear learning; in ordered lessons. This can’t happen here. And to relegate the most important investigation (reality) to competing with many lesser posts would be a great disservice to people. I understand the humanist mission and it’s fairly good. The problem is that it proceeds on a mission without first having correctly solved the nature of reality. Sure, God doesn’t exist and the reasons to cast it in doubt are evident- yet this topic (possible causes of spatial existence) fails to raise our knowledge of reality past 10%. Temporal longevity must be made the prime topic, for only then have we properly addressed both space and time (nature, the cosmos).
A bit of a ramble, but there it is. Have a great day.
And how does one achieve temporal longevity and is it subject to evolution?
Ponder that today.
No need to ponder what was already stated. The cosmos automatically provides an infinite series of worthwhile lifetimes. If by evolution you mean improvements over a series of lifetimes so as to gain eternity or higher state of mind- this is impossible.
Are you saying that one gets to do it over and over again, always the same?
That would seem boring.
Or do you mean different but no increase in wisdom and experience?
That would seem futile.
How does one gain temporal longevity? Does everyone have a soul, or only a few initiates?
That’s a lot of questions, and a lot of jumping ahead without preparation is being asked for! A natural kind of soul is discernable through the study of possibility doling aka the distributing of information. Two scenarios emerge and they are testable.
Wow. This guy is so mysterious, yet claims that they are reasonable. We are working with some other definition of reasonable I guess. I have taken many linear courses, starting with basics, understanding terms and getting through basics. I did that in college, and I’ve kept doing it as an adult. Not just physics, but humanism, spirituality, Bible history, reviews of evolution. I have no idea where miastarr is starting. It seems like, in all my years as a progressive Christian, the many people I’ve known who use crystals, meditate, encounter groups, all that stuff, somewhere in there I would have found out about this temporal longevity.
The cool thing about reasonable lines of thinking is that they can be understood by a wide variety of people from a range of cultures and with different educational disciplines. This intro from miastarr is pretty classic mystery religion stuff. It is supposed to draw us in, and then we say, oh please, let us hear your wisdom, take us on your retreat, whatever you’re smoking I want some. If we don’t do that, then there is something wrong with us, we are not worthy, the student is not ready so the teacher doesn’t appear. Or, in reality, the guru goes off looking for another victim.
Sorry, not in the mood.
We can skip the basics. You are not dealing with novices.
So if you have something new to distribute, out with it. Trust me, we can follow you.
Me thinks you are playing games.
If you have something worth sharing,
you should be able to explain its outlines in a simple succinct manner,
for instance . . .
May you continue to enjoy your stagnation at 10% knowledgeable and 90% rude. I’m not the pretender here. You are. My knowledge simply belongs on a more respectable site free of pseudo-intellectual pessimism. Bye!
Na. I’ve decided that a better site is needed. This is Templeton and Nobel prize stuff.
I wish you well. We’ll watch the news
You were the rude guest. So bye. Go fnd some suckers to con.
