War Drums in the Ukraine

May i just make a remark : People who flee tu USA come mainly from South and Central America, which are not subject to US drones and sanctions.

What is true is that they fly hunger and poverty.

The causes of theses are multiple and USA policies have been one among many.

Now, when people fly from China and Russia, may be they fly from dictatorship and social control.

Would you live in a country where you are permanently under camera watching and graded for everything you do. If your grades are too low, you are deprived of rights.

I thought that was what edward snowden warned his fellow Americans about

The Telegraph admitting the obvious

China has much more surveillance and data collection. The program Snowden worked on is bad, no question, it should be stopped. But we’re not the same as other countries.

Somehow you’ve managed to invert what I wrote. This is fact; not fiction. Yes, I do use rhetoric, and as far as I know that is not trolling. You as a moderator may have to yield your position. To participate fully in this discussion does in fact include the possibility of falsifying the moderator. Here on this site in particular, while your position as a god is well documented, your existence is optional, as is mine.

It is well known and has been well exposed that the version of foreign aid that the U.$. offers poor countries that it likes to control is the sort of thing which, if you do not accept it and become endebted to U$, then there will be trouble. I believe it was Phil Agee who described the jackals:

None of this has changed. It has merely morphed, with what are called ‘cutouts’ appearing to isolate one arm of the system from another.

As I see it, based on your own feedback here, it is possible that the CFI in its attempts to achieve some form of integrity on the internet has been compromised.

Unfortunately, we’re not that different either. I would have thought the last ten years have proven how susceptible we are to the worst human nature has to offer.

Delusion reigns in this country.

We do have higher standards, unfortunately not too many worry about living up them these days.

And now we have most of the Republican Party totally mocking those USA home of the free standards along with the moral high ground we think is god-given.

Prove it!..

You say prove it.

Here is the red cross report on the collapse of the iraq health system due to sanctions and bombings that has led to the deaths of a generation of iraqi children

Here is madeline albright saying 500,000 iraqi children dead because of sanctions is worth it

Here is a report in response to the west attempt to rewrite history and whitewash their crimes on this through a disinformation propaganda campaign

And the cost to peoples lives study from the US war on terror is here

And on the “other” side, the DNC want to kick RFK junior off the Dem ballot

Thanks SunnyJim, and I’m sorry to see the discussion digress this badly.
What is happening in Ukraine is different than every other country that we’ve interfered with.
Still, the same can be said of every other country in the long list.
There are slave markets in Libya, for instance, where Obama’s biggest mistake; according to his own opinion; happened. Mearsheimer’s remark about Godzilla is accurate, and I hate it very much. I hate being a citizen of it. I must not be complicit with it. I must confront it. I must confront those who are complicit. To what degree a confrontation is trolling here… obviously in the eyes of a moderator who feels their position getting compromised who has no hope of actually falsifying the claims, well, it is understandable that a weak moderator would want to eliminate such posters. Of course the fact that the deep state side of things is so tightly aligned to this moderator’s position cannot be overlooked. The fact that the deep state has inserted itself into social media cannot be overlooked. As well, though, for those who have fallen for the propaganda: we are here to save you. It is easy: just do some research and you’ll find that the lies can be exposed still. What is scary is the extent to which the propaganda has saturated certain organizations. It is quite literally unbelievable, particularly to one who has gone along and especially one who has gone along with Russiagate, and as to how many this actually is I think at the moment is diminishing. Break the Russia gate open and obviously you can’t feel to good about Ukraine, or at least you shouldn’t.

Will the Dems use russia gate to smear Dr Cornel West?? And speaking about countries interfering in another’s affairs, biden got the Ukraine state prosecutor sacked in his investigation into the corruption within Burisma

It’s so easy to get all self righteous in pointing out hypocrisy in the other, but what good is it if you don’t recognize the hypocrisy within our selves.

Beyond that, besides talk, what do you have to offer?

I offer you a light on the Democratic partys undemocratic politics in eliminating alternatives to their anointed leader and to “accepted” Party policy. Reminder of how they destroyed Dennis Kucinich’s career in redistricting his seat is a fine example.

And I offer you our binary system - it’s the Democrats who still at least trust in science and varifiable facts and discussion - and we have the Republicans who believe in totalitarian power and white supremacy using the politics of resentment, bulling and intimidation, and an absolutist rejection of learning new facts or USA once hollowed principles of democracy and pluralism.

What are you offering besides yet more exasperation, venting and yet more anger?

For what it’s worth:

Response to being accused of SPAMMING by DNC politico.

What piqued the US interest in Iraq, to begin with?

OK, here we go.

20 Years Later: The Lingering Health Effects of 9/11

Two decades after foreign terrorists attacked Americans on U.S. soil, the impact of Sept. 11, 2001, is still being felt today. Hundreds of thousands of people remain at risk due to the trauma and exposure to toxic air following each attack. Carcinogens from building materials, gases and jet fuel laced the air around each crash site, with the most severe toxicity among the ruins of the World Trade Center towers in New York City.

An estimated 410,000 first responders, cleanup crews and survivors spent days and weeks breathing in air heavy with toxins from 400 tons of crushed concrete, glass and asbestos at Ground Zero. Exposure to contaminated air and toxic chemicals created a growing list of health concerns for many of the men and women who were there, with some illnesses such as mesothelioma taking approximately 20 years to develop.

I am not saying that Saddam Hussein was responsible for the bombing, but he was certainly engaged in criminal wars, such as the chemical bombing of the Kurdish people and invading Kuwait a small defenseless ally of the US with a lot of oil, which made him an enemy of the US.

But before then Saddam Hussein had a reputation … as a ruthless dictator.

Did Saddam Hussein use chemical weapons on civilians?

Saddam Hussein launched a large-scale chemical weapons attack against Iraq’s Kurdish population in the late 1980s, killing thousands.

Can you stick to the topic at hand and not go off on another agenda ?

Nothing is helping me these days.
We screwed ourselves.

Still given today’s reality the only option that makes sense is to work to fix the Democratic Party from the inside. But there aren’t enough people who care enough to try, it’s so much easier to play the high and mighty role of prosecution and judge. If citizen’s have become incapable of taking on responsibility, what’s your bitching going to help?

If you seriously want to get real, we’re in a heck of a fix, a free fall, there’s no turning back now. When the water and food starts running out, here and there, for real, . . .
Accumulating cascading consequences have a way of avalanching . . .

But i have not seen you yet discuss this here in what is there to fix and how. Not even an invitation to discuss. And now you will most likely turn it back on me and ask whats my solution. Why would it take my promoting of you, to discuss something that you say you are fully passionate about?

And what is your agenda? So far you haven’t said a kind word about the US. You accused the US being responsible for the Ukrainian war.

And this incidental post is in response to another post accusing the US for deliberately starving Iraqi people without some kind of provocation. That is clearly misleading if not outright lying.
