“Few” and “many” are two different things. Virtually no one is saying the few 10 year olds who can become pregnant cannot receive treatment. Medicine works by averages. A similar thing is the fact that some young adults die of stomach cancer for example, but most don’t, and that is why doctors don’t screen young patients.
The point of this side story is that media bashing of politicians who say I didn’t know 10 year olds can get pregnant fails because it’s just not a common occurrence. Nobody in the world knows many pregnant 10 year olds.
