What do you think would have happened with a Trump appointed Ambassador to the IN who is instructed to support at any cost Trump’s pal, Putin? What will happen Trump is president? Would he allow his UN Ambassador pick to shame Russia under any circumstances? Would a Trump Ambassador ever say, ““Are you incapable of shame? … Is there no execution of a child that gets under your skin? Is there literally nothing that shames you?”
I expect the Trump Ambassador to instead be cheering Russia on and supporting Putin every step of the way, nommatter how many children are executed.
Iran-backed militias are preventing civilians and opposition fighters from leaving besieged districts of east Aleppo, Syria, as Russia struggles to convince the Assad government and allied militants to abide by a ceasefire agreement. Shelling of the districts resumed this morning despite the agreement brokered by Turkish intelligence and the Russian military on Tuesday that would have offered a respite to tens of thousands of trapped civilians.
