Let’s seem if the US commits to the deadline of this Friday to respond to Russia proposals

Somehow it seems appropriate to segue to Putin’s invasion of Ukraine - which has its roots in trump, trumpsters and the meltdown into delusional neo-Republicanism, and all the treasonous (to USA that is) crap that’s brought with it.

Intel Committee member, Sen. Mark Warner, D-Va., discusses what intelligence reports have gotten right about Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.

As if the world isn’t already facing enough challenges, our leaders, especially the business leaders who own most of our politicians, gotta work at creating even more destruction. I know, I know there’s profit in it for some, that it’s all so sociopathic is of little account to most, eh. It’s the way of the world.

But wait, there’s more this may dissolve into serious Cyber Warfare, won’t that be fun.

Cascading consequences can be a bitch, thanks all you Trumpsters out there.

It all started in 2007. ā€œDear President Putin. Congratulations on being named Time magazine’s ā€˜Man of the Year’—you definitely deserve it. As you probably have heard, I am a big fan of yours. Take care of yourself. With best wishes. Donald J Trumpā€.

Trump’s Mysterious Relationship With Putin

"After President Trump’s nearly four years in office, we still do not have a good answer as to why the president has repeatedly deferred to Vladimir Putin on major issues. This is a central question that we face as a country, especially its consequences for American policies on Ukrainian sanctions, on the issue of Russian meddling in the 2016 presidential election, on the trustworthiness of our United States intelligence agencies, recently also on the contretemps over possible Russian bounties for the killing of American soldiers in Afghanistan and finally on the US presidential election.

As these scandals flare and recede into the next crisis, our focus on solving this mystery seems to subside as well. We must not lose our attentiveness to what is behind Trump’s baffling relationship with Putin — our national security depends on it.

Although we have no official answer, we have a set of clues, stretching back decades. Trump himself has admitted it over and over again. …"

He’s a traitor who loved and probably still loves kissing Putin’s butt. The only reason as to why Putin didn’t do it sooner is because he and the dotard made strange bedfellows, but nonetheless… Of course, President Biden won’t kiss Putin’s butt, much less befriend him, so Putin intends to steal land, kill people, and take all the toys… if all the other countries don’t gang up on him or haven’t lost resources due to the pandemic.

Rachel Maddow outlines the poor job Vladimir Putin has done governing Russia and makes the case that part of Putin’s motivation for sabotaging democracy in neighboring countries as well as in more distant Western countries is to discourage Russians from realizing how much better their lives could be if they weren’t ruled by a thieving dictator.

Why Putin Didn’t Invade Ukraine During Trump’s Presidency

Chris Hayes: ā€œWhen Republican politicians say that Putin would not have invaded Ukraine under Trump, they are probably right. But for the wrong reasons.ā€

This comes from a lefty source, reportedly known to massage the truth occasionally, so it is to be taken with a grain of salt,
Yet, yet,
if so many people can still be running around seriously saying they believe trump’s Big Lie about the 2020 election being stolen from him, which is supported by far far less evidence than this story,
that looks into the curious tale of trump’s long standing love affair with Russia, I figure this worth sharing, just for a little deep background .

Former KGB Officer Says Donald Trump Has Been a Russian Asset Since 1987

We need to get to the bottom of this, and many of us believe that we’re not even close. Three things must be done to have confidence in any finality with respect to Russia’s relationship with Trump.

First, Robert Mueller was not allowed to investigate Trump’s financial past; someone must. >

Two, we need to know about Deutsche Bank and why Trump was treated like God when no other bank on earth would touch Trump.

Last, we need to know what our own intelligence agencies know. …

Regardless, Jonathan Chait from the Intelligencer released a column last year in which he states that in his opinion, it is more likely than not that Trump was and is a Russian asset. He quotes Craig Unger’s findings in his book to back it up:

A second reason is that reporter Craig Unger got a former KGB spy to confirm on the record that Russian intelligence had been working Trump for decades. In his new book, ā€œAmerican Kompromat,ā€ Unger interviewed Yuri Shvets, who told him that the KGB manipulated Trump with simple flattery. ā€œIn terms of his personality, the guy is not a complicated cookie,ā€ he said, ā€œhis most important characteristics being low intellect coupled with hyperinflated vanity. This makes him a dream for an experienced recruiter.ā€

We still need to know. We need to know so that everyone knows. Who cares if the MAGA world rejects it? They are only 35% of the country, and half of them believe that Democrats eat baby poop or something worse. …

Trump will rise again he will save Amercia and his Son will be president only they can change things like things should be.

doandl trump facts

He did good and no one talks about it. What has Joe Biden Done the last 2 years ? More spending and more deaths have happen since and inflation grows ! No solution is coming from Kamala Harris or Joe Biden.

More like become dictator and kill even more people than his father did, IF he did, but he won’t become president. He’s a joke.

No, most of the deaths happened under the dotard, not President Biden. MAGAts really are brainwashed. I find that really sad, because they’ve been brainwashed to believe the fantasy of the dotard and not face reality. It’s as bad as religion. The fact is, President Biden have helped to keep people from dying of COVID by getting the vaccines out to people. The dotard made every effort to keep that from happening.

Lots of solutions have come from them. Have you noticed late, that gas prices have come down a bit? Those prices are almost at pre-pandemic levels. There have also been fewer hospitalizations and deaths from COVID under the Biden administration too. Debt has been cut a bit too and is predicted to get better of the long run. I don’t know what you’re doing, but things are slowly improving. It won’t be overnight, nothing is, but it is slowly getting better.

How are things supposed to be?

Bringing it back to our Russian Obligate ā€œBillionaireā€ the sexual offender, and traitor to his country the donald trump and his Russian cronies and master of the MAGA insurrection - have been taking America for ride.

Here’s the latest twist to the story:

Go figure?

An American company that paid the now indicted FBI informant Alexander Smirnov in 2020 is connected to a UK company owned by Trump business associates in Dubai, according to business filings and court documents.

Smirnov is now accused of lying to the FBI about Hunter Biden and his father, President Joe Biden, alleging that they engaged in a bribery scheme with executives at the Ukrainian energy company Burisma. Smirnov’s accounts to the FBI, beginning in 2020, that federal prosecutors now say are fabrications, served as a major justification of the House impeachment investigation into the Bidens.

Republican lawmakers have repeatedly touted Smirnov as a reliable informant, and the chairman of the House oversight committee, James Comer, even threatened to hold the FBI director, Christopher Wray, in contempt unless he ā€œhanded overā€ a June 2020 FBI form with Smirnov’s claims to the committee.

Not much to add, simply more data points documenting the madness.

2018

… This is the premise of the Netflix series Ozark. It’s the perfect series for the Trump era.

Every administration offers the country a crash course in something. …

And now, to understand the rise and (inevitable) fall of Donald J. Trump, it’s imperative to learn the ins and outs of money laundering.

Sure, the TV show Breaking Bad provided an introduction to the subject, but money laundering was only ancillary to the main action of producing and distributing methamphetamine. Ozark goes into the gory details of finding investments, cooking the books, churning the loot, parking it overseas, and making the final product available from ATMs the world over. …

Is Trump a (Money) Launderer?

Before he became president, Donald Trump was basically an unsuccessful businessman who managed, time and again, to fail upward. He filed for bankruptcy six times — five times for his casinos and once for the Plaza Hotel.

He’s been involved in several high-profile and very expensive investments that ultimately didn’t go forward: the West Side Yardsin New York City, the Trump International Hotel and Tower in Dubai, Trump Towers Rio, Trump Ocean Resort in Baja, Mexico, and several shady real-estate deals in Florida.

An astounding number of his other business ventures have gone belly up too, including Trump Airlines, Trump University, and Trump Magazine. …

Why Russia?

ā€œā€¦ Vladimir Putin didn’t create post-Soviet corruption or the oligarch system that perpetuates it. Rather, he adapted the system to his own purposes — and for the financial benefit of his circle of friends. ā€¦ā€

Now

What Trump says he would do in a second term

Stephen Collinson, - March 6, 2024

Trump’s threat to democratic institutions and the rule of law is not a matter of conjecture. The former president is telling the country exactly what he’d do if he becomes only the second former commander in chief – after Grover Cleveland in 1892 – to win a second, non-consecutive term.

Simply put, Trump is running on the most extreme platform in modern history. He has called for the termination of the Constitution. He wants the Supreme Court to grant unchecked power to the presidency, which he plans to use in a personal quest for ā€œretributionā€ against his enemies. He is pledging to gut the civil service in government departments and to fill posts with political operatives. He’s signaled he’d use the Justice Department not as a quasi-independent arbiter of the rule of law but as a personal political enforcement machine. Many of Trump’s former officials fear he’d pull out of NATO, trash the post-World War II international system and side with dictators.

He says undocumented immigrants are ā€œpoisoning the bloodā€ of the country and vows mass deportations and detention camps. He’s drawn allusions to 1930s dictators by calling his opponents ā€œvermin.ā€ On Tuesday night, an ex-president who has already incited violence to achieve his ends warned supporters that if he didn’t win in November, ā€œWe’re not going to have a country.ā€

It was once fashionable for Trump apologists to chide those who took his threats literally.

And why do regular Americans love him? Because they are so filled with hatred for their neighbors? Because they see themselves as superior humans who should have special laws enshrining their superiority for eternity? Or something like that.

Carry on, …

They did say 2020 was the most important election ever and 2016 before that

Well, Yeah!
You think those weren’t increasingly critical elections?

Think of all the insanity and the Putin/Trump contrived rage, and the malicious & deadly mishandling of the COVID health crisis, the packing of the Courts with MAGA minds that can’t see past their own bubble, financial malfeasance at every level, and so on.

All that our country would have been saved if only those elections had a more honest & smarter outcome. Imagine with the 2000 most important election ever had gone to its rightful winner Al Gore, all the political and humane horrors and never ending conflicts the world would have been saved.

So now we’re really against the rails, those who are salivating for governmental collapse are doing all they can to help it all. Your approach, is exactly what they are looking for, . . . . .

So yeah, once again this is the most important election ever and our future will be formed by its outcome.
