Wow, I can see a woman in her fifties, with her arm covered it tattoos, and here hair the most vivid purple! How colorful and cute. Maybe she’s gay, and maybe not? You just can’t tell for sure these days!

It’s about time for the 1st NFL and the 1st MLB player to come out.

I must confess I don't understand why anyone should be called upon, or expected, to announce his/her sexual preferences. In what sense is there an obligation to do so?

I must confess I don't understand why anyone should be called upon, or expected, to announce his/her sexual preferences. In what sense is there an obligation to do so? There is no obligation to do something that could have a positive impact in correcting some of our society's bent views on the treatment of persons according to their sexual preference. I would, however, call on persons now, who have any positive standing in society, and who are secretly gay, to come out of the closet, simply due to the timing, that, now, our society's views toward homosexuals and their human rights, is rapidly changing for the better. This change is due in great part to people knowing someone important to them who is gay.

"Outing" has been justified on the ground that the change for the better will thereby be advanced, also.
