So, these people had a democratic for of government before the US was even a country. Pretty smart, no?

Have you ever heard of White Christian Nationalism? They are a white supremacist group and they are Xian. Obviously, you have no clue what some Xian groups believe.
Actually, success in life is determined by those in power. Those in power are the majority and if you are not part of the group they are not oppressing, then you won’t have success in life. Those in power oppress others and those who are oppressed are set up to fail. IQ test results have nothing to do with success or failure. Thus, one can be a very intelligent Black person, score well on the IQ test, but might not be successful in life because those in power oppress them, especially if they are a Black woman with a high IQ. On the other hand, there are those like Neil deGrasse who do succeed, despite the oppression and I’m sure deGrasse and Harris and Obama and others can tell you everything they had to overcome by way of oppression. Of course, deGrasse is the only one who isn’t biracial, but there are others like him. The truth is, success is based on those in power, just as living conditions are based on those in power. Those in power are the oppressors who decide how those they oppress will live and if they succeed.
This is what I’m saying in the above quote, from the Vox link. I’m not sure if oneguy didn’t read past the third item, but I would say that it’s not unusual for people to look at the current landscape of morality and success and judge individuals based on that. This ignores the consequences that our combined lifestyles create. A natural outcome of that is to make a test that relates to success factors, like income and the size of your house. If we tested how well people understand the laws of physics, and how their actions relate to the environment, we would get very different results. If we measured success by the health and well-being of every living thing within 5 miles of your home, and the amount of waste that comes out of that radius, we would get very different results.

Ritchie persuasively argues that IQ doesn’t necessarily set the limit for what we can do, but it does give us a starting point. And the truth is some people start ahead.

Guy, I think that’s a great question, so hope you don’t take offense at me underscoring it.
A few are like that but most White Nationalists I know of dislike Christianity because it is ultimately a Middle Eastern religion.
If it were up to me, I would hold a referendum for Blacks and there would be three choices:
Mandatory segregation.
All-expense paid trip back to Africa.
Their own sovereign state carved out of the USA.
I’ve heard of them but they are just one group. Most White Nationalists have a bad view of Christianity because of its Middle Eastern origin.

What society do you live in? In my society, there are still Native Americans living on reservations, still oppressed. There are still Black people being oppressed, some who have violations of the law, be it a traffic violation, drugs, or something more serious, get a harsher punishment than whites, including death without a trial. Many don’t even get a chance to go to college or get good medical care, because their family is poor and the family is poor due to oppression. So I don’t know what society you live in, but it’s obviously not the U.S.

Silly question, but I’m not a fan of extremely dark skin, although that’s not the problem. It’s the behavior of those groups that is a problem.
