Can we at least try to ignore this one. See what happens. If they donât have something to respond to they donât post. They wait a little, then post an obscure headline with little or no comment. One of those articles that has facts but leaves out facts. So itâs factually nonfactual. Itâs how the .01% keep us fighting.
And that statement is proof Ukraine belongs to Russia?
You have it exactly backward.
Question: What changes did Putin make to Russia?
He turned Russia from a nascent democratic state into an autocratic one, expanded Russiaâs influence in the Middle East, strengthened Russian relations with China, and displayed a willingness to use force to achieve his goals, as in his annexation of Crimea in 2014 and his large-scale invasion of Ukraine in 2022.
Youâre becoming unhinged. Try harder not to make a fool of yourself.
America supported a revolt, not a putsch, and it did not began the war.
The president, the government and the parliament had been elected to conclude a treaty with Europe.
The project of treaty was approved by the parliament. But Russia exercised pressure to prevent the signature of the treaty.
The president and the government gave in to the pressure and prepared to conclude a treaty with Russia. They were overthrown and Russia punished Ukraine by attacking it.
This attack violated the Ukrainian border guarantee treaty that Russia had signed.
That is not their point. Without exhaustive investigation, weâll never know who stateless is, really. Even if found, determined to be acting independently and speaking their own mind, weâll never know how that mind works or what truth is to that mind. I have seen one story of an individual who harassed so many people that they were arrested and removed from the internet. It took years. They arrested because they were disrupting police business. Very few people are dumb enough to do that. They go from forum to forum, posting like this, getting banned, then telling their ban-story to the next forum.
The EU demanded economic liberalisation and austerity on the ukrainian people with pension funds affected. Yanukovych chose russia with billions on dollars of debt relief and cheap gas. A democratic country would then have the opportunity to vote out Yanukovych in the next elections if this was the will of the people but the business class and far right hate democracy and organised a putsch with the help of the US state department stepping in funding billions of dollars to opposition parties. In fact Victoria Nuland was caught on tape discussing whi should lead ukraine after Yanukovych
The president was removed from office in violation of ukraines constitution in that Yanukovych was still in the country and the number of votes in parliament needed to remove him was not achieved.
I canât relate to your fears at all. Letâs put it this way â if civil war broke out, Iâd be more worried about the government killing me than armed civilians.
The war would be over before that would be necessary.
You must have done something really bad to upset the government. Iâm more worried about people like you than I am of the government, unless the dotard gets back into office. President Biden, Iâll be fine, but the dotard, his minions might kill me because I never was for their orange creature.
Not against its own citizens, The government supports a well-regulated militia.
It is the unregulated citizenry that is the threat. Today privately held guns are the greatest killer of children
An analysis from the Kaiser Family Foundation, a research nonprofit, that relied on 2020 data compiled by the CDC found that firearms were the No. 1 cause of death for children and teens in the U.S. Those deaths included accidents, suicides, and homicides.
That doesnât support your case. Unarmed black men are killed by our government. Citizens kill each other and police donât seem to care. They bombed Tulsa in 1921. They send children to die for unjust wars. â4 dead in O-hi-oâ.
If the people who want to kill people like me get into power, they could easily kill me, legally. Thatâs why I fight for just systems.
Youâre bringing up some dicey and contentious legal questions and not mentioning why people protested and voted to get rid of him. That leaves me wondering just what actions you support
I did say . He turned away from the EU and chose closer ties with Russia. The ukraine right didnât have the numbers as required by the constitution to impeach him and he was still in the country when they did so.
Its BBC article that doesnt say why he turned away from EU and doesnt even give a single word about vote although it does mention he was still in ukraine when he left kiev.
But Thats the BBC reporting for you -unreliable in giving the complete picture and loose with the facts
If I link an article that addresses why he turned away from the EU, Iâm sure youâll tell me that it left out something else. And if I find one that says they did vote, as you say:
you might say something about the contentious constitutional issues, or you might attack the website I link, or you might bring up something else, or youâll drop it for a while and go take someone else down one of your rabbit holes.
You are trolling. Stop it or get banned. Thatâs a warning, from a moderator. There is no requirement in the rules that I do anything else, give you more warnings, give you 3 warnings, nothing. Iâm tired of banning people, but Iâm tired of trolls. Itâs a dilemma.
