Today I had to send out a dozen emails to individuals - and I used the same title on every email. . .
later my email indicated almost all of were returned “undeliverable”.
"This message was created automatically by mail delivery software.
A message that you sent could not be delivered to one or more of its
recipients. This is a permanent error. The following address(es) failed:..."
Is there some weird control that automatically considers multiple emails with the same title Spam? {and come to think of it they all had very similar texts too.}
It pretty irritating since I know these are real email addresses.
Anyone out there know anything about this? help :red:
No idea, but you might try to get around it by making minor changes in the titles.
If the text was the same in each you might try just sending it as one e-mail but with one to yourself then the dozen as hidden copies.
Occam

Well it turned out not to be as bad as I thought. Today when I went to back track I noticed that actually only three email addresses were problems, why I got multiple rejections for each I don't know.
Yes, and I did change the title around. As for the text., one paragraph was different on each. It was my sales pitch to Restaurants that participated in previous Durango Bluegrass Meltdowns - so it sure didn't fit the definition of spam.
. . . Still have to wonder what that was all about.
