scam letter

i got one of those “you have received an unexpected inheritance from a distant relative” mail scams today. it was so badly written it was funny.
anybody ever set up a dummy email address and try to respond and see how far you could take it?

20/20 lead one of these people on, as a segment of their show, for weeks–going as far as meeting the person in England, before telling them they were a news show. It was hilarious!

If you want a good laugh there is a short book called “Delete this at your peril” by bob servant about an older guy who gets his first computer and starts getting those type of spam letters. He leads them on in a very creative way. Its hilarious. I used his style and did it myself a few times. It was very entertaining.
