The study itself notes that it “reports new research that has not been certified by peer review and should not be used to guide clinical practice.” …

The Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) confirmed on September 24, 2021, it has removed usage of Ivermectin and Hydroxycholoquine from its approved COVID-19 treatment guidelines.
Experts at the ICMR did not find enough evidence for Ivermectin and Hydroxycholoquine as potential therapeutics targeted against COVID-19, stated Samiran Panda, head of epidemiology and infectious diseases at ICMR.
What’s missing here is, what approval, for which uses, under which conditions???
Please notice the following warming from the FDA:
FDA cautions against use of hydroxychloroquine or chloroquine for COVID-19 outside of the hospital setting or a clinical trial due to risk of heart rhythm problems
Does not affect FDA-approved uses for malaria, lupus, and rheumatoid arthritis

Just web search “Use of Hydroxychloroquine in India to Fight COVID-19” and you will get two hits. On both hits you will still half to scroll down half-way until you see the title. Or click on the link in my posting. Then do a page search for the word “authorized” and go to 1 of 2.
